   Assignments in education and training units:

• Academic instructor, 1st Air Training Wing and Air Force Academy (1963-1967).
• Commander, 1st Air Training Wing Groundschool Squadron (1967-1970).
• Faculty instructor, Air Force Command and Staff College (1973-1977).
• Assistant to the Commanding General of Air Force Training Command for Operations (1977-1979).
• Commandant, Air Force Junior Commander College (1979-1981).
• Commandant, Staff and Administration College (1983-1985).

   Professional military education assignments:

• During the period between 1970-1972 I had been assigned as Chief, Bureau of Training at the Air Operations Staff, Indonesian Air Force Headquarters, in Jakarta, while being a student for several months at the Indonesian Air Force Command and Staff College (Seskoau) in Lembang, West Java.
• For a year thereafter since 1972 I was attending the USAF Air Command and Staff College (ACSC), at Maxwell AFB, Alabama, before being assigned as a directing staff (DS) officer (faculty instructor) at our own Air Force Command and Staff College in Lembang, West Java.
• While during the period between 1981-1982 I had been a student of the USAF Air War College (AWC), also at Maxwell AFB, Alabama.
