| Service Workers. This skill category includes OFW parents working as domestic helpers, drivers, baby sitters, caregivers, beauticians, waiters, cabin stewards, guards, lifeguards, sales ladies, cooks, chefs, nurses, physical therapists, and social workers, etc. Values. These pertain to one�s various principles, priorities, and standards given situations. In the study, the participants were presented various global issues. They were asked to rank six reactions, each reaction representing one of the Six Values and Attitudes for Global Citizenship. Values and Attitudes for Global Citizenship. This pertains to one of three key elements in the curriculum for Global Citizenship developed by Oxfam in 1997. The other two elements are knowledge and understanding, and skills. There are six values and attitudes for Global Citizenship, these are: (1) sense of identity and self-esteem; (2) empathy and sense of common humanity; (3) commitment to social justice and equity; (4) valuing and respecting diversity; (5) concern for the environment and commitment to sustainable development; and (6) belief that people can make a difference.
