All the dead med-jais were gathered and given a proper burial. Ardeth Bey always hated burying one of his fellow med-jais. He saw them as his brothers. They were all brought to Ardeth and he said a brief prayer and good-bye to all of them. When Mohammed was brought before him, he was grief stricken. He and Mohammed had bonded. Mohammed had told him about his great love for Meela. He had trusted him. Now he was dead. Ardeth felt it was his duty to tell Meela that her love was dead. Killed in the battlefield. He said a quick prayer for the soul of Mohammed and whispered to his laying body, �do not worry my brother, I will tell Meela.�
That night Ardeth Bey while under the stars was thinking of how to deliver the news to Meela. �How will I do it, she does not even know me nor do I know her and now I have to give her such news. I do not want her to think it was my fault. No, no I can not do this,� thought Ardeth sitting up. He couldn�t see the girl cry. He decided that if she did not know it would be better for her, and for Ardeth as well. But he was still troubled by this whole situation because he had promised his brother�s body that he would tell his love of his death.
