    How-to:

    Do you have complaints about mastectomy products? Chances are you've experienced the same problems as other ladies. Yet it can be a bit intimidating to send a "complaint letter" to a company that has, after all, chosen to try and help people with a medical concern.

    This form was created so that you could "complain" in a less intimidating way . . . using concerns other ladies have also voiced, and merely offering constructive criticism or suggestions. Near the bottom, there's room to write a personal note about your experience, or a thank you. Feel free to add on your own concerns, as well!

    Check the boxes where you feel changes should be made. Print out this sheet, and send it to manufacturers. Please clip away on the dashed lines before sending in your completed list.

    Here's What We Want From . . .

    All Specialty Clothing

    Reasonable prices, so that items can be afforded, even without insurance.

    Fun colors . . . not just skintones.

    Bras and Underthings

    Simple, form-fitting, comfortable bras (no lace!) that stay put (similar to the typical sports bra).

    Higher necklines that cover the bit of our chest where the cleavage starts and is missing.

    Feminine, lacy camisoles in flesh shades that we can use with our pre-mastectomy shirts and dresses.

    Prostheses

    Easy to understand sizing for breast forms.

    Durable forms that can be worn by pet owners (animals have nails/claws), moms, and other active women.

    Swimwear

    More supportive cups that hold breast forms firmly in place.

    High neck swimsuits (to collarbone).
