    Flattops has moved to:

    http://flattops.webs.com/

GeoCities will be closing, so this move is necessary and it's important to update your bookmark(s) and link(s). All the same content is on the new site.
"You mean, I can't post my get-rich quick scheme? All it requires is sending $10 to the person on top of the list, and then . . ."

    Mailing List Rules

    Who Can Join?

While the site itself is for anyone--male, female, young, old--we ask that only ladies who are flattops or are soon-to-be flattops join. This will help keep us as a small support community for one another. Some examples of people who can't join: men, people writing articles or conducting research, and salespeople.

    No-nos

Here are some things we ask you not to use on the list:
  • Acronyms
  • Anything you didn't write yourself
  • Cure/treatment information
  • Flaming, either publically or privately
  • Foul language (keep it rated G)
  • Links, unless you are not financially connected to them (in the case of cancer walks and similar fundraising events, exceptions will be made)
  • Others' e-mails (erase all or most of the one that you're responding to)
  • Spams and ads
  • Tones (except for nice ones!)
  • Please always be courteous and only respond to posts when in a neutral or positive mood. Sometimes our tones inadvertently get passed into e-mails when we're in a foul mood. Likewise, when you read a person's e-mail, don't infer your own mood at the time into that person's post. Read it as if it's meant to be kind.
For example, think of someone saying, "Thanks a lot!" That can either be a really nice comment, or a really rude one! It can be challenging to read e-mails, so we should all read them as if they are meant to be positive and kind.

    In Closing

Flattops is not legally responsible for any information exchanged. Messages deemed inappropriate will be erased as soon as possible, but members are urged to use personal discretion when reading and answering posts. Moderator(s) reserve the right to delete any post they deem inappropriate. However, sometimes a post may stay on a while before it is seen by moderator(s)--so use discretion and ignore inappropriate posts. Replying to e-mails that are inappropriate means the moderator(s) has/have to erase more posts.

The ladies on the list are great and so supportive . . . please come on in!

    I'm ready to join!
