We can only be optimistic if this is true. I am also adding the web address

I am doing okay. I wrote you a
really long e-mail the other day but....guess what.....YOU DIDNT CLEAR YOUR
ACCOUNT...hint hint :) heard you got
a call from the family tree. Don't
worry I'm okay...I was there though but not extremely close to the
danger. It was pretty exciting
though. Well it has been getting
pretty darn frickin hot over here. It
is so hard to sleep or just do anything at all. I really wish we knew when we were going home. I miss home alot. How are things at home? Anything cool go on. Heard you hung out with Chad's parents for
a night. Chad said it sounded like
you guys had a good time. That's
good, it's about time you guys started to get to know each other. I talked to Janie the other day. She is hopefully sending me some

written. We have a new operation
going on so I haven't had much time to do anything because we are in the
transition phase. Other than being
tired, things are still going okay. I
got the package with the camera and the Cd's. I like all of them but the weird chick who sounds like she's
drunk. We still have fun listening to
it though. So is anything new going
on? Phoebe must have started school
already I'm thinking. I started
working at the station again. I
really hate the station. It's hot, you don't get to eat much, and you're
always tired. Today I have the day
off. I didn't do too much, slept in
and went to the pool. Now I'm just
trying to catch up on e-mails and cleaning.
Chad said he had a good time at the blues festival and would like to
go again. So that's good! Well I am
just letting you guys know that I'm okay and was just thinking about you

but things are looking up and down.
The down thing is the return looking in may, the good thing is that I
work 8 hours instead of 12. Now this
May thing isn't completely official, but it's official enough to make
everyone feel like crap. I should be
able to give you the official date in October. I tried calling you guys the other day, well actually you
because I haven't talked to you in almost 2 months and I miss you. I guess I will try again tomorrow. Not too much has happened lately. I've done the same darn thing in the last
few weeks, fun fun I know. We are
having a rat problem which people are now realizing. I told them before we moved into the
building "Where do you think the critters go when it's hot? Someplace nice and cool, the
building." So now, there are
rats of course. The LT. chased a
bunch of them out of my stuff last night.
That is just completely disgusting.
So now, I am doing a thorough sterilization of everything so there is nothing that attracts these little
varmints. Actually, they are kind of
cute. We killed one the other day, it
was hilarious. There were about eight
girls standing on cots screaming while I was getting good pictures,
ha-ha! So yeah, well I need to go
because I'm running out of time. Tell
everyone I say hello and that I love them.
Tell Andrew if I don't hear from him soon I will divorce him as my
brother. Remember, I am still in a
war zone. Okay, have a good day and I
love you. oh I need a soft tooth brush in my next package, you
don't have to rush, and if you want, you can send my black with white and red
stripe down the sides mesh pants...it's getting cold here at night, like 70

little down in the dumps lately. We
had some problems with the mail, computers and phone so that is part of the reason
you haven't heard from me in awhile.
Nothing really exciting has happened around here. The skeeters are getting really really
bad. Last night I got bit all over my
face and I was really really puffy. I
would say I average about 20 bites a night.
One night the little buggers got in my sports bra and had a feast all
over my chest. That was not cool at
all. Also, last night I caught a rat
in the trap I laid. I was kinda in a
daze from sleeping and it got away before I could kill it......or maybe I
just was scared to touch it, anyways hehehe.
We are watching the Packers/Chiefs game. Packers seem to be doing pretty good compared to the last few
games. Well I'm sorry I don't have
things to write. Will you please tell
everyone that I say hi and that I love them.

We caught another rat the other day...YES!! It is like a sport now around here. I am watching the Simpson right now. Gosh, I really miss that show.
I got a package from you guys.
It had some soup in it. Thanks
alot. The other ones I haven't gotten
but that is expected because of the mail problem that we had. Oh, I have a new obsession. I now like the little campbel soup at hand
things. You can drink them like a cup
it's awesome. Things are pretty routine around here still
though I have had a long couple of days.

and the day seems to be stress free so far.
hmmm....every time I'm on here, I can't think of anything to
write. Well let's see.....the rules
around here seem to be getting more and more difficult. We can't run at night anymore because of
all the rockets and mortars that they keep shooting over here. We have to keep our gear around us all of
the time. It's just kinda annoying, I
mean...we don't have anything much to worry about because my platoon sleeps
underground. But some big wig up
there is getting paranoid. I say whatever
happens ..happens. So what's new
around you guys? How are the
cats? Is phoebe enjoying her
car? I sent a picture of me to
grandma and to Andrew just so you know.
You guys can take a look at them.
It's just me in my gear at the station..Unfortunately, the station
isn't there anymore. Well I just

there. Just writing to say that I'm still here and doing okay. There was probably some stuff on the news

guys? Same routine over here. It is getting colder and colder everyday. I'm working the night shift now but it

packages of little Christmas presents.
I haven't opened them yet. I'm
