Hey Cousin!!

Sorry it took so long to respond. I am having problems with my home pc due to a

recent Window's upgrade. However, I do have some pictures of Carlye stored in my

directory at work. Attached are the best ones I could find. I am also including a little

bit of information about Carlye. By the way, the picture of the 3 flags is the United

States flag, Wisconsin state flag and the flag of the Green Bay Packers.

The 32nd military police unit is from Wisconsin and they flew this

flag over their compound when they arrived in Baghdad. Just a

bunch of "cheese heads in a foreign land".

Carlye is 20 years old. She will be 21 on July 31st. She has been in Iraq

for almost a year and just recently the government extended her tour

another 120 days. Although she was anticipating coming home in the

next couple of weeks she accepted the extension and is dealing with it

as part of her duty to her country.

She currently holds the rank of Specialist in the Wisconsin 32nd Military Police

unit. She attended basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri during the fall of

2001. While in basic training she excelled in Shooting, Physical Training and earned

the award of "Honor Cadet" upon graduation. Her plans are to go to college

and had completed approximately one year of school at the University of Wisconsin-

Milwaukee when her unit was deployed. Her plans are to transfer to the University of

Wisconsin-Eau Claire in the fall of this year.

Carlye grew up in Watertown, Wisconsin and graduated from Watertown High

School in 2001. In high school and throughout her young life she participated in

athletics. In fact, she tried out for just about every sport allowed, including a year

on the wrestling team. You do not tell Carlye she can't do something because

she will prove you wrong.

She has an older brother (Andrew) and younger sister (Phoebe). Her parents

are Juan and Dawn Garcia. Juan holds the position of IPM Coordinator for

Brownberry Ovens in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and Dawn is the lead teller for the

Associated Bank branch in Watertown. Carlye's grandfather on her dad's side was

Juan P. Garcia of Odem, Texas and her grandmother was Manuela  Monclova from

Victoria, Texas.

If anyone is interested in contacting Carlye through e-mail, let me know and

I will ask her if she wants her e-mail address posted.

Let me know if you would like anymore information.

Thank you for the wonderful Web site on Carlye.

Juan
