Some of our members have accumulated various documents, freight bills, and a volume of annual reports from 1907 through 1923 on the Nashville, Chattanooga and St. Louis Railroads.  These reports contain huge amounts of data on track mileage, ballast, freight and passengers delivered, rolling stock and locomotives, repairs to structures, trestles and tracks, and of course profit and loss, and others too numerous to name.

The detail is simply amazing.  These annual reports contain all of this information on the following Nashville, Chattanooga, and St. Louis Main and Short Lines:

Main Line, Centerville, West Nashville, Lebanon, Shelbyville, McMinnville, Fayetteville & Gadsden, Middle Tennessee & Alabama (my personal favorite), Tracy City, Sequatchie Valley, Rome Railroad, Western & Atlantic RR (leased), Paducah & Memphis Division (leased), and also bond issues for the Duck River Valley RR.
