The Southeastern Region's Mid-South Division is intended to serve railroad modelers, train fans, and railroad history buffs of the past and present era, along with a special interest in the major and short line railroads of North Alabama and Southern Tennessee. The Division has been around a number of years and has survived only by the gallant efforts of past Presidents and Division Superintendents. The Division's current Superintendent is Mr. Thomas E. Bailey of Fayetteville, Tennessee.

Mr. Bailey and a small but enthusiastic group of rail and model fans around the Mid-South area since the fall of '99 have remained tireless in their efforts to create a good clean fun atmosphere for modelers and history connoisseurs alike.  Although currently, our group is small and we have no permanent home, this Mid-South web page has been constructed in an attempt to create interest in this area's local modeling talent and railroad research.

Please visit our photo's page where you will soon see some of the Mid-South area's historical railroad structures and rolling stock, along with current rail and mow equipment photos.  Our modeling photos are limited at this time, but there is plenty of room for more.

If anyone would like to contribute railroad model photos, rail equipment photos or articles of interest, please send copies to my email address [email protected]
