The Task
This election is critical to the Nation of Research.  If millions of Researchers are to have their questions answers quickly, accurately, and completely, the best candidate must win.  Your job is to get your candidate elected.
Your team must prepare and deliver a campaign speech for your Search Engine Candidate that will convince the voters to elect your candidate to the position of Search Engine President.  This 4-6 minute speech must explain the candidate's strengths and features as well as point out the weaknesses of your opponents.  As part of this speech, you will include a 1-2 minute live demonstration of your Search Engine at work, illustrating the searches he or she does best. This demonstration will be shown to the audience via our classroom lab projector.
