A sophomore English/Secondary Education major at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine, Erin Kinzer is the editor of the sports and entertainment page of UNE's online newspaper. Her NEA involvement includes being the president of her SEAM chapter, as well as being on the IPD committee for MEA. Erin is currently researching and making presentations on diversity in literature.

Karen Parrott is an English Literature major at North Central College in Wheaton, Illinois, after recently transferring from a community college. She will be completing her middle school practicum in the spring, though she envisions herself teaching at a high school level. Karen is the mother of a two-year-old daughter and loves to read and analyze literature, as well as write poetry.
