speech or debate team?
I have been asked (well, I somewhat volunteered) to coach my high school's speech and debate team. I know NOTHING about coaching a speech and debate team so the school is sending me to a 3 day forensics conference in Indianapolis. I have a lot of awesome students interested and planning on signing up.
Has anyone ever been apart of a speech and debate team? I have a speech degree but done very little to no debate.....does anyone have anything to share?
Anything that you all have done in the past that was successful I would be more than happy to consider!
