MS stands for Multiple Sclerosis.

bulletWhat is MS?
bulletMS is thought to be an autoimmune disease. This means that the body's immune system attacks the body, more specifically the fatty tissue that surrounds the nerves. The fatty tissue is damaged or destroyed.
bulletWhat causes MS?
bulletThe cause of MS is still unknown. It may be genetic or due to something in the environment.
bulletWhat are the symptoms of MS?

Symptoms vary from person to person. Some people may have many symptoms while others only have one or two. They also vary from mild to severe.

Some symptoms include: Bladder Dysfunction, Bowel Dysfunction, Cognitive Function, Dizziness and Vertigo, Depression, Fatigue, Difficulty in Walking, Numbness, Pain & Many more.

bulletHow is it diagnosed?
bulletBecause of the varying symptoms MS is very hard to diagnose. Several tests must be run including a MRI Scan and Spinal Tap.
bulletIs MS curable?
bulletUnfortunately there is no cure. But there are many medications that can help someone LIVE with MS.
