Some people would have you believe Unsaturated fats are ok. Well, that can be deceptive!  "Fat is fat", says Dr. John McDougall, and no "Oil" qualifies as Health Food! Tests at the University of Texas and throughout the Mediterranean have shown that Monounsaturated Fats "lower" bad Cholesterol while raising good cholesterol. The best source of these fats is Olive Oil!
Have you been buying margarine, because you thought it was better for you than butter? It's not. The hydrogenation of oils to make margarine creates "transfatty acids", whch can be dangerous to your health. Transfatty acids raise overall choleterol levels and clog your arteries. They also promote free radicals, unruly molecules that damage healthy cells and increase the risk of Cardiovascular disease and Cancer.
