Richard Chubb was born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania. His love for fiber arts came from his grandmother, Geraldine, who owned an alpaca farm. As a child, he would help her shear the alpaca wool, clean it, and spin it into yarn. Richard learned how to knit and crochet by the time he was 10 years old and has not stopped since!
Over the years, Richard learned advanced techniques in yarn dyeing, which helped him to realize his lifelong dream was owning a yarn store. The alpaca wool used in our shop is farm raised, cleansed and dyed using organic products, and is handspun by Richard himself. Each skein is soft and squishy; ready to be made into your next, cozy, project.
