This WebQuest was created for my second grade class. Overall, my students are able to work both independently and along with others students. Typically, when working with students, they tend to work best in small groups. Additionally, they all have a substantial amount of knowledge on how to use the computer and how to navigate on the internet. This will allow them to utilize the online resources and directions in my site easily.

What I will definitely need my students to learn and work on is how to take good notes by only working with the important facts and/or details. This research project gives the teacher many opportunities to teach their students how to create outlines.

Any modifications that may need to be made for this project will depend on the grade level you are using this WebQuest for and your student’s academic level and/or special needs. I intend to add some modification ideas to this page throughout my career when conducting this WebQuest.
