Subway
This is the "Paul recommended" mode of travel. Take the subway from Harvard (steps from our wedding) to the Arlington stop on the Green Line (about 2 blocks from reception). You will come out right at the Public Garden. Walk up Arlington St away from the Park and take your second left on to Park Pl. You should see Maggiano's from there (at botton of parking garage).
People from out of town can grab a local guest to follow to the reception.
Driving from Harvard Square
From Harvard, find your way on to Massachusetts Avenue going towards Boston. You'll go over the Charles River. Now you're at step 5 of the Yahoo directions. I'll let Yahoo be a better guide....
Parking
If you can find street parking near the restaurant, great! If not, Maggiano's is on the ground level of a 10 story parking garage, so parking shouldn't be a problem. The drive from Harvard Square to Maggiano's will be a great example of Boston driving!
Taxi
There are lots of cabs hanging around Harvard Square. I estimate about $20 for the cab ride. The subway is $1.
