J-Alvin and Mayfield Celebrate 24 Years!
Can buildings date? A new study shows that, yes, they can. Experts from Pembertonly University analyzed several dormitories across the United States including here at John Brown University. �We first noticed the phenomenon when two residence halls began to make �googly windows� at each other.� Here at JBU, J-Alvin Brown Hall has been courting Mayfield Hall since Mayfield reached the legal age of 18 back in 1982. J-Alvin was 62 at the time. �It�s true we do have quite an age difference but I don�t feel like it�s a problem.� said J-Alvin. Twenty-four years later their relationship is still going strong. We have both put on a few pounds over the years, what with me getting a new wing and J-Alvin growing an atrium, but we still love each other� adds Mayfield. The powers that be have declared both J-Alvin and Mayfield not long for this world but they will stick together until the bitter end. Walker and North Halls are still in structural kindergarten and will have to wait until they are older to start dating relationships of their own.
