Dear Parents,
The center will close for the holidays at 3:30pm on Friday, December 21st and reopen on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2002. The children's holiday party willbe held on Friday, December 21st beginning at 12:30pm. The preschool classes will be presenting a program and Santa will visit each classroom to distribute small gift bags to the children. Pleae let your child's teacher know if you plan to join us. Thanks!

Each year we have a holiday party for the children at the center. Using donations from local businesses we put together small gift bags for the children. If you think your employer or someone you know would consider making a donation (Note: It would be tax deductible.) for this purpose, please let me know as soon as possible.

This week the theme at the center will be "Dinosaurs," followed by "Cookies," and the last week will be "Family Celebrations." Our colors of the month are red and green, our letter of the month is "D" (December, Dinosaur), and our shape of the month is a rectangle.

Please make sure your child has the proper outerwear to play outside this winter. All children must have a hat or hood and gloves or mittens. Snowpants and boots are recommended when it snows. The children like to go outside and it is much more fun with warm fingers and toes! We will do our best to help keep track of things! Also, remember to make sure your child has an extra change of clothes in their cubby!

Attached are the December menu and book orders. Book orders and money are due by Friday, December 7th. Have a safe and happy holiday season!
