Dear Parents,
Starting this week the theme at the center will be "Fire Safety" followed by "The Farm Animals/Harvest." The week of October 22nd will be "Pumpkins" and the theme for the last week of October will be "Families." The colors of the month are orange and black and the letters of the month are F (Fall, Fire, & Farm), H (Halloween & Harvest), and P (Pumpkins). The shape of the month is a pumpkin shape.

The next parent meeting is scheduled for Tuesday October 16th from 5:30-7:00p.m. Free dinner and child care are provided. A sign up sheet is located on the parent bulletin board.

All classes are planning on attending the "Fire Prevention Display" at Limcoln Square next week. We also have scheduled a field trip to Curtis Orchard on Wednesday October 17th. We will be sending out the permission forms later this week.

On Thursday October 25th we are planning on having a Halloween Party/Open House from 6:30-7:30p.m. Some games for the children are being planned, as well as, refershments and a chance for parents and teachers to visit with each other. The whole famioy is incited and children are welcome (but not required) to wear costumes.

Just a reminder that all children should have an extra change of appropriate clothes in their cubby at all times. This is especially important now that the weather is getting colder! Attached you will find the menu for the month of October and book club order forms. Please have the book orders in by Friday October 12th. Have a great month!
