Dear Parents,
For the next two weeks, our theme at the center will be "Water All Around Us" (marine life), followed by "Land All Around Us" (desert life). Our color of the month is yellow and the letters of the month are "J" (June) and "W" (water and world). This month we will also be talking about water safety. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CENTER WILL BE CLOSED ON THURSDAY JULY 4TH.

Summer is almost here! On really hot days we may be playing outside in the water, so please keep a swimsuit and towel in your child's cubby throughout the week (along with an extra change of summer clothes!) and take them home over the weekend to wash. Since the children are playing outside more often please be very careful as you drive around the building to pick up your child in the afternoon!

The next parent meeting is scheduled for Tuesday June 11th from 5:30 - 7:00pm. The parent group will be planning a fun filled afternoon of water activities for the children and famililes. Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting. We appreciate your participation.

I would like to take a moment to let you know about an exciting opportunity we have to offer your family. Our center began collaborating with Head Start in March 1998. This has already benefited your child because of the fact that for each child we enroll in our "Head Start" program, we receive an extra $10.00 a day in addition to the tuition we charge. This money goes directly into our program to purchase new equipment and supplies for your child. If you are interested you may stop by the office to pick up an application.

June menus, book club order forms, and the Child Care Food Program Applications are attached. Each family must complete a new application form and return it to the office by the 7th. These applications are necessary so the center can be reimbursed for food costs. Please take a few minutes to complete it as soon as possible. If you have questions, please let me know. Book orders and money are due in the office by the 7th. Have a great summer!
