Dear Parents,
This week our theme at the center will be "Worms" followed by "Mud," "Plants & Seeds," and the last week will be "Fun with Numbers." Our colors of the month are all the colors of the rainbow, the letters of the month are S (Sping, Seeds) and R (Rainbow, Recycle), and the shape of the month is a diamond.

The next Parent MEeting is scheduled for Tuesday April 9th. Free pizza and childcare are provided. Please sign up on the parent bulletin board if you plan on attending. The Parent Committee is still selling candles. If you haven't placed an order you have until the 19th. Candles make great Mother's Day gifts.

I would like to welcome Jen back from her maturnity leave! She will be returning to the infant room. Tyler is now six weeks old. He will be enrolled in the infant room.

April 8-12 is designated "Week of the Young Child" and "Appreciation Week for Teachers of Young Children." Parents often assume that teachers know they are appreciated, but we all know it is nice to be told once in a while! Please take a moment to say thank you to your child's teacher for all their hard work.

Congratulations to Kristine Cain & Fran Reynolds for receiving this years Friend of Young Children Award. They were nominated by their co-workers and parents for their dedication to the children at the center.

I would like to thank everyone who donated candy and attended the Parent Luncheon/Treasure Hunt on Friday. A fun time was had by all. Attached you will find menus and book order forms. Book orders and money are due by Friday, April 12th. Have a great month!
