Deputy Coroner Myers was summoned and immediately empaneled the following jury:  Charles James, Richard Swift, George Hepler, and Charles Nichols.  After examining the dead man and listening to the testimony of the physicians who were summoned, they rendered a verdict that the decedent came to his death as a result of a hemorrhage of the lungs.
