Paul Trainor
Paul A. Trainor, 73, of 1104 Arthur St., died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2004, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Solon,
Baker
Burial will be in Moon Creek Cemetery, rural Streator.
Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Born Dec. 13, 1930, in Sunbury, he was the son of Omer and Rita Mary (Breen) Trainor. He married Shirley Bales on Nov. 27, 1952. She survives in Streator. Also surviving are a daughter, Paula (Mrs. Erik) Bakalar of Joliet; sons, Timothy Trainor of Ina, Daniel, Ralph (Roxanne) and David Trainor, all of Streator, and Scott Trainor of Rockford; four grandchildren; and a brother, Felix “Bud” (Elsie) Trainor of Streator. He was preceded in death by children, Paulette and James Trainor; and brothers, Raymond and Thomas Trainor. He worked for Owens-Illinois Glass Company in the decorating department for 41 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #645, Streator, and a former member of Immaculate Conception Church. Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice. |
