C. Simko Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the Winterrowd funeral home with the rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. A mass of christian burial will be read Tuesday 10 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church with burial in Moon Cemetery. Mrs. Simko was born Feb. 9, 1933, in Streator to Joseph and Margaret (Scholtos) Pastirik. She married Edward Simko Nov. 10, 1956, in Streator. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Charles E. Simko, Streator; three brothers, Lawrence and Leon Pastirik of Streator and Gene Pastirik of Escanaba, Mich.; and one sister, Mrs. Daniel (Joan) Masley, Streator. Her mother, Mrs. Margaret Pastirik and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Jerry. A lifetime resident of Streator, she was self-employed as a beautician for the past 15 years. She was a member of St. Stephen's Church |
