Update
Welcome to our homepage, I'm currently working hard as I can to make a good looking layout, so far I've gotten some good reports about the site from friends, so hopefully everyone will like the site and where it's going :). Bad News - I've just reciently discovered that our mp3 page cannot stay. If it does and yahoo.com discouvers it, we may be shut down. I'll add all kinds of other downloads to make up for the lose.We have new news archives! Check em out! Sorry about not updating lately, I've been busy with... stuff :x
Kid Rock - May 3, 2002
Kid Rock is sick, reportedly with laryngitis. Last nights Knoxville, Tenn., show scheduled for the rocking cowboy was cancelled. According to a statement released by his promoters, this is the first cancelled show in Kid Rock history. There is no word yet on whether tonights show in Memphis will go on as planned. The Knoxville show has been rescheduled to take place on June 12. According to Kid Rocks official website, he is taking this tour easier than usual. While normally a week of performing would include five to six shows, it has been shortened to about three shows, allowing Rock to spend time with his eight-year-old son.
Ricky Martin - May 3, 2002
The Latin heart throb - from two years ago - Ricky Martin is being tapped for Dirty Dancing the sequel. Harvey Weinstein is reportedly trying to secure Martin and Natalie Portman for the film which will be set in Miami, where Martin's character runs a Salsa style club. A source has told ananova.com: Martin has been searching for the right kind of vehicle which might include dancing and perhaps a song or two." Production is slated for later this year.
Creed - May 3, 2002
As we recently reported, Creed has cancelled tour dates after singer Scott Stapp was allegedly injured in a car accident. It now appears that the Creed frontman has super-healing powers. According to allstar.com, Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti told an L.A. radio station yesterday, that the singer was able to shoot a video the very next day after the accident. As a result the new story is that Stapp had problems before the accident that are causing concern as a result of the accident, even though the band originally had a completely different story.
TLC - May 3, 2002
The funeral for Lisa Left Eye Lopes was apparently delayed today by an hour due to the high number of mourners. It is being reported that the church, which could seat up to 10,000 people was to capacity and that many were forced to stay outside. Besides Lopes fellow TLC members, Chilli and T-Boz the church was filled with other celebrity mourners like Usher, Janet Jackson, Jermaine Dupris, Babyface, Whitney Houston, Timbaland, Da Brat and Monica to name a few. A white hearse carrying the casket of Lopes arrived at the church at around 10am local time.
Creed - April 30, 2002
Creed have had to cancel the remaining 20 dates of their North American Weathered tour because lead singer, Scott Stapp has been involved in a car accident. A label spokesperson for Creed gave few details on the collision, including when it happened or what Stapps injuries were. All that is known is that it happened in Orlando, Florida and that Stapps vehicle was struck by another car at 60 mph. Doctors have advised Stapp to not perform on stage while he takes time to recuperate. The bands spokesperson Steve Karas would only comment: "We dont want people to believe that this is a situation where Scott will not recover."
