Our club aims to provide mouse lovers and owners an opportunity to keep in touch and get together on occaision to show and sell our mice . All people and their pet mice are welcome at our events, where there will be sections for pets that do not fit into any specific standard. These will be labelled as 'pet' or 'novelty' sections.

The aims of this group are based upon the AusRFS aims:

*To promote and encourage the responsible breeding of fancy mice

* To promote the holding of exhibitions and shows and conduct exhibitions and shows

* To care for rats and mice for the term of their natural life

* To foster, promote and protect the interests of exhibitors of fancy mice at exhibitions and shows

* To educate and encourage members, breeders and judges to abide by the requirements and standards approved by the club for the conduct of exhibitions and shows

* To promote good fellowship and sportsmanship amongst members and those participating in or attending at exhibitions and shows

* To hold functions and lectures relating to fancy mice and the aims of the club.

* To make awards and donate prizes for competition at exhibitions and shows and for the competition by breeders and exhibitors of fancy mice

* To foster relations with other clubs and bodies having similar aims

Like AusRFS we seek to encourage people who own mice to house and breed them responsibly. We wish to avoid the sorts of problems which have occurred with some other animals when they are over-bred, allowed to become feral, or bred for specific traits to the animals' detriment.
