Moonshiner is, as the name suggests a song about a distiller of Moonshine. Illicit whisky stills feature in a lot of folk and country songs and this is a particularly nice example. There are many variants of this traditional song, Bob Dylan's being one of the most famous. Our version, recorded in February 2001 features Chris Joynes on lead vocals. We really need to play more stuff in minor keys! |
