Welcome to E-Survivor 8: The Fast and the Furious

As E-Survivor 8 came into session the two tribes of eight realized that there would be absolutely no challenges. There would be no immunity to help anyone in the game. In order to win this fast-paced game the tribe members would have to use their inter-personal skills and perfected strategies to win this game. So now... meet the two tribes.. Instead of the Usual "Rat Points" to tell me how the game was going, I instead used a form that the contestants had to use when they would vote at tribal council. What I put in under each name is what was on that form.

Darren's first email to the tribe only got to Theresa's inbox. If he continued to follow this path his mistake might end up really hurting him.

"Me, Deb, Theresa, and Rick are in an alliance"

Debra also had a slow start to the game with a late entry into the introductions.

"Well, let's see, we've opened a cafe on our island. We've become more and more personable and vocal, LOL! We have lots of talking going on between individuals, lots of getting to know each other emails. There are a few of us that are VERY active, particularly Rick and Theresa. "

Rick also gave a little shout out to his tribe, but remained very quiet in the initial days of the game. But soon he found out that in a previous group Theresa had posted that he was a "control freak." This might be the first signs of tension in the tribe. But in a funny twist the two decided that all conversations between them should be kept private. Could this be an early alliance? "So far I have heard from only Theresa, Debra, Paul and Wally. Theresa are
chatting quite a bit and she says that Darren has contacted her." "Laura and Phyl (is that Phyllip or Phylis?) still haven't shown up...
Makes them vulnerable, especially since we all know that not being at Tribal
Council will mean we cast a vote for ourselves. That means that right now,
Laura and Phyl will each have avote against them, therfore making it easier
to convince others to vote them out."

"Not sure at this point, what to say here since I don't know how the information I give will be used. Simply put, I am getting to know ppl, and finding out who best will 'benefit' me. Call me paranoid, but I'm not telling you anything else...LOL"

The first player to speak to the tribe Theresa told everyone that she might have a problem communicating due to a firewall problem and a time-table that only let her speak during working hours. Theresa also noticed that the first email from Darren did not go out to the rest of the tribe. She decided to keep this a secret so that she migtht have a slight advantage over his problem.

"Well, I"ve had a good time meeting people. I"ve gotten a chance to IM with Deb, Paul, and Rick - all of whom seem like nice people, and I've exchanged emails with Darren & Wally (who seem to be on a different schedule than I). Darren approached me fairly early and asked me to vote at t/c with him. Deb said she was in if I was, so the three of us agreed to vote together for this t/c. We found out thru IM exchange that Paul was planning to vote for Phyl, and since we were probably going to vote for someone who we hadn't heard from, that seemed a logical choice for the 3 of us. Rick also agreed to vote for Phyl, so I think this time it will be Phyl!"

Adam quickly made it known that he might have problems in the first tribal council. He was going out of town and didn't know if this would hurt him or not. In response to this, Adam was filling the newly formed Yahoo Group site with messages trying to convince others that we was around for good.

"Not much, just right now getting to know each other, but I have my eye on 3 that i would want to be in an alliance with."

I've been chatting w/ Adam as well. I told him he
should email you because he's going away this weekend.
I want him to think that I have his back. He could
be useful if I gain his trust. He seems like a nice
kid but I'd like to string him along like Robb did w/
Matt in the beginning of last Survivor.

On another note, I noticed that Chris and Adam are 17.
also, I noticed that Zora is 22 and very attractive
in her picture. I'm worried that Zora could wrap the
young men around her finger. That's another reason to
make Adam think he has an alliance w/ me. Keep him
away from bonding w/ his fellow 17 year old and the
pretty 22 year old woman.

Elisha and Mark haven't posted any messages. Elisha
joined the yahoo group wheras Mark has not. Mark
apparently lives in the Phillipines. There could be a
tiem conflict there. If nothing changes, I'll push
for Mark to be the first one voted out."

"Kenny, Sherry, and I have an apparent alliance. We
consider Adam as our "fourth" member. We're in close
contact w/ him. Whether the hierarchy within this
core changes remains to be seen. You never know.

I said in my other email that I'd like to string Adam
along like Robb did w/ Matt. That's still a possible
plan but Adam seems more clever and intelligent than
his age would indicate. He seems like a good kid.
I'll have to keep a close eye on him.

Sherry and Kenny are cool too. Sherry likes hockey.
You have to like a woman who's a hockey fan. Kenny
seems like a nice guy. I've chatted w/ both of them
alot on Yahoo messenger.

Zora- she hasn't been very active but we've exchanged
a couple of emails. She could be talking to other
people so I won't assume anything. However, I'm
trying to create a situation where I'm one of the
people that she trusts and goes to when it comes to
making voting decisions. Hopefully, I'm the only one
privately emailing her. I could slide her in my back
pocket if that's the case. At least for the moment.

Chris - seems like a creative and intelligent kid but
he's very quiet. I emailed him about the vote but he
didn't respond. I don't trust him. He's a possible
threat. I'd like to get rid of him as soon as
possible. I wonder if he's talking to elisha, zora,
or even adam.

Elisha - joined the yahoo group but hasnt said a word.
She's the next to go in my opinion.

My position seems secure for the moment since sherry,
ken, adam, and I chat on a daily basis but you never
know what's going to happen."

"i have a stealth aka as in jason and daneille from bb3
last year..alliance with sherry. and another alliance
with gay and sherry.. me and sherry will not vote for
each other,.,.but.. gary doesent know.. i just hope
for a while there will be a few who dont show up or
contribute so they will be somewhat easy votes and we
wont need to have a collective vote.. i just know.. i
will never vote for sherry,, least till we're the
final 4 or so heh.. but who knows.. i might not be
above lying and cheating heh"

ratio of votes. he seems nice enough."

"Last couple of days.....pretty quiet.....guess we've all been busy with weekend stuff! We posted some pictures and stuff and chatted back and forth, all trying to get to know one another. T, Rick and I are the core of this group, but we are bringing in Darren and maybe Laura to our group so we have a strong alliance when the time comes to merge and start kicking out the others."

"Everyone is having a great time. Sharing drink recipes, pics of each others luxury items, and pics of each other. Been doing some serious chatting with Deb, Darren and Theresa on IM. We are getting to know each other pretty well. We seem to have a lot in common. Laura and I have been emailing back and forth a lot. We both like to craft so it gives us something to talk about. That's about it for now..."

"Camp seems to be pretty lively. We're uploading photos and recipes and getting to know each other. In conversation with other tribe members, there seems to be a consensus that Westlee should go because of his lack of participation. I continue to communicate often with Deb and Rick through IM's and with Darren, Paul & Laura through emails and the camp site. Just trying to be friendly to all at this point - I like my tribe mates. The all seem like smart, nice people - any of whom I'd be glad to be friends with on the 'outside'."

"well.. im not looking forward to breaking the tie at the merge..i think it maybe decided by a "coin flip? please tell me its not true. im still keeping my alliamce with sherry and gary and my secret one with sherry.. also i added a secret one with zora as well saying i would never vote for her..i
do admire her work ethic,.. 3 jobs!! wow and being premed is admirable. i might have to screw gary over
later in favor of her and sherry..but i will.if i know i can control both of their votes better than gary..
his strategizing the other day with me gave me pause... he could jump alliances easily when we went into the merge if he thought he could win... where as
sherry and zora are just in it for the fun heh"

"Me and Rick and T are going strong. Laura and Darren are on the inside of the Final 5 .......next vote will be harder since we are all together now. Maybe you'll merge us and we can pick on one of the others LOL!."

"Deb, Theresa and I have worked hard to put together a Final 5 alliance that hopefully will take us where we intend to go. Me, Deb, Theresa, Darren and Laura. The Tribe as a whole has had a lot of fun, and I actually don't enjoy having to vote Paul out, but it is the game and someone must go. Though it will be interesting if we win the 'non-challenge' and Paul sees that we voted him out, yet he stays. Deb and I are beginning to wonder about Theresa. she is very active and a great person, but she is on the verge of being 'over the top'. We are fortunate to have her on our side, and we will honor our agreement with her as long as we can, but there might come a time when she shoots herself in the foot, so to speak. Deb and I are bracing ourselves for that. Then again, we might just make it all the way together as the Final 3. Who knows... we'll see in just a week or two, right?"

"Still enjoying camp life. The tribe is definitely 'together' and we're all going to try our hardest to win the challenge today because I don't think any of us really want to see Paul leave. The mood has been a little quieter, although Rick seems to be doing his best to cheer us up with a swim :-). I feel a real friendship has formed with Rick and Deb - and Laura and I have been talking about our kids who are the same ages/sexes. So it seems I have something in common with these folks. Darren's a great kid, but because he's online in the evening and I'm not, we don't talk much. We do email every day though."

"People are starting to make alliances and strategize. Kenny and I have made a final 2 alliance and we are going to make a final 4 alliance with Zora and Sherry after the merge."

"well as u know i have an alliance with her and besides shes very hot hehe and so it kinda got me worried that gary was gonna use chris and sherry to vote me out after zora if need be.. i just couldnt be sure where they stand after hearing that.. so i told chris about garys plan to string him along which he didnt like hehe and so now he is with me and zora and even adam now i think..so im running things here .. its a nice feeling..gary is way too strong a
player,, hes frickin allways bringing up new scenerios for us to contemplate,,thats scary,. cant keep
him;..im hoping that he goes too as it would be worse for him to stay after this ... loll so im waiting to send it in intentionally later.. just hope we can find
some disenchanted ppl on the other tribe, boi gary is gonne b shocked..lol and he will know who did it..
anyways least till we merge me and chris and adam, and zora can strut around camp heheh showing our new power.. lol and sherry will have to be good .. lol.. i just couldnt allow her to be in the middel between
adam and zora and me and then maybe going to chris and gary side.. u see? so now she only has one choice left.lol take care sam,. give us plenty of extra points for all our work of pics and flags and the club..and stuff ok?
As for what is happening in my tribe... good things.. hehe good things.. i brought adam into my fold.. by
giving him the promise of a stealth alliance.. just me and him and we take sherry and zora to final 4..but.. to not tell them till the merge.. i dont wantthem talking too much and sharing notes. after we get chris gone..ill prolly have to screw over gary.. i used his seemingly obsession about strategizing to sherry today.. and she did agree he can be annoying.however she still voted with him for
chris.. it is so easy to get ppl on your side when u tell me their next to go hehe well guess thats it.. i have gone back and forth wishing we could win this one but..i dont think adam will vote anyways.. he has comp problems so... oh well.. here is my vote sam.. i just hope there is some problems with the other tribe.."

"Rick and I are the Final 2 alignment and we have to do what we feel is the best protection for us. We've become to think that T is making arrangements on the side, outside of our Final 3 agreement, to oust us and we are doing what we think we can to protect ourselves.....I think we are targeting Darren next because of his history with games....apparently he's very good and much more of a threat than was ever thought before. T has been suspiciously quiet the last couple days too....but that could be her job interferring! LOL."

"Deb and I have become suspicious of Theresa. Therefore we decided to try and 'throw' the challenge and actually make our vote count this time. Also, we have hedged our bets by making hints to Laura about a 3-person alliance with her, in case T does decide to bail on us for some reason. We are thinking that she has something going with Paul and Darren. and might use that against Deb and I. Speaking of Darren, Deb and I discovered that this guy is a pro at this type of game, not only having admitted to playing in your games before, but also is running his own games. Therefore, Deb and I have bumped him up on our 'threat' list. We're thinking that he has to go next, after we finally get Paul out."

" It's too damned quiet. Now I know how those real survivorvs feel when they're stuck on that island and bored out of their skulls. I'm bored. I want something to happen! I am still talking w/Deb & Rick regularly, although all 3 of our schedules have been very hectic this week so we're not doing much more right now than hi/bye. Email w/Darren & Laura has been slow at best this week, and Paul is nonexistent. For the first time since the game started, I'm unsure of my position and of the game plan because I haven't heard from Rick or Deb all day. So tonight I'm just winging it and hoping we're all on the same page.

Did I mention I'm bored and I wish something would happen????? Yeah, I know, be careful what you wish for. ."

"Well, Theresa found out about me and Rick. I also have
made an agreement with her too, should something happen to Rick. I am a woman of my word and I won't do anything that would cause his demise in the game, but if something did happen I want to be around still and T would help me with that.

Otherwise, I see a lot of scrambling by the other tribe to stay in the game and try and form new alliances with us to prevent getting picked off."

"Well, Theresa has found out about me and Deb and its all out in the open now. Yet, she still says that she is sticking with us and hoping for some 'twist' at the end that will get her into the
Final Two with one of us. The other tribe seems to be each scrambling to work their way into Loslos, so to somehow avoid being picked off one by one.
I can't say with 100% certainty though, but I think thatwe are a tight enough group to avoid them doing that. These past few days, I gave Laura the impression that the stakes were 'upped' for her by proposing that her and I think about a third person to take with us to the Final Three. From what I understand, Darren believes that he is a Final 3 with Deb and T, so
each of us sees sticking with our Group of 5 as more than just 5th place. If it can be helped, no one will know any different until that 5th person is chosen.
."

"What is going on in the game: The game is finally on! I'm enjoying Sherry and Adam - they are nice people. So is Gary actually - I liked talking with him. Personal feelings have nothing to do with strategy or who deserves to win. If I lose, I want to lose to someone who deserved to win! Sherry and Adam and Zora (although I haven't spoken with her yet) have agreed to vote with us and vote for Gary. They are hoping to get us thinking as one big tribe rather than two small ones, and they may succeed but so far Loslos is still voting along tribal lines. I also have some worry that my tribe may vote me out if the other tribe continues to vote with us, because Rick now knows I know he lied to me and said he he didnt' have a final 2 agreement w/Deb. I don't much care that he lied to me, as a certain amount of that is part of the game. He told me the WRONG lie though, and one I didnt' believe fr! om the get-go. If he'd told me the RIGHT lie, that he'd go final 2 with ME, I probably would have been blissfully ignorant until the final 3 vote! LOL But I'm sure it gives him a reason to question my allegience to him and therefore to Loslos, and might mean a vote for me sooner than I'd have liked. At this point,I have no intention of changing my allegience, but that can always change if it needs to.

"Its like shooting fish in a barrel. It seems that this no-challenge game is getting a little too predictable. Our group of 5 seems to be just waiting til we start picking each other off, and even that is planned out. We are waiting for some sort of 'twist', but thus far there have been none.."

" I'm in the process of making a play that might just get me voted out. Because I know I can't get tot he final 2 if Rick is around, my strategy at this point is to try to get rid of him. Deb will not vote against him, but also will not hold it against me if I vote for Rick...so I've got Sherry and Adam and hopefully after tonight I will have Darren...and then hopefully at next T/C you will see Rick's name here. If it doesn't work, maybe you'll see mine!

If that doesn't work, I'm back with voting with the tribe. Whatever I have to do to get my butt further without betraying anyone. Rick knows all bets are off between us - I don't owe him my loyalty anymore and voting with him is only going to further HIM, not me, at this point. I stuck with him as long as I could, but I can't chance the final 5 with him...he will have Deb and Laura's votes, and I may only have Darren. It's now or never. Wish me luck! LOL"

"Lots. I am in a Final 2 alliance with Rick. Have been since the beginning. I am still hoping that Theresa makes it along with us to the final 3. Rick and T are bickering a bit. They had a small falling out and they both feel that it voided their agreement but that the smartest thing to do still is to stick together. It will be come interesting as we being to have to vote out our own tribe members as to how the game falls."

"Well Right now Theresa approached me and Sherry and Darren for an alliance to vote of Rick this round. Than possibly making it to the final 5, or final 4. If we can make it to the final 4 with Deb and Theresa, we can have a tie and hope and pray one of them is gone. Theresa thinks she won't have any enemies from this game when she votes out her friends, but ha ha she has another thing coming. Oh well, watch and See!"

"He Thought he was playing me and I ended up playing him. He thought he could pit my feelings about Gary against me and get him farther in the game. Valiant effort, but he never expected that Deb and I were talking so much and we both figured him out. When he sees the vote, he'll realize that we found him out.."

"Staging this vote has taken up most of my time. That and dodging Deb & Rick's questions. I think Deb gets it though, but she just doesn't wanna know. I'm comfortable with the way I brought this about too - I did not lie to Darren or Sherry or Adam to get them to vote with me - I just told them why I thought it was in their best interest and let them make up their own minds. Luckilly, they agreed with me! Laura is the only innocent casualty of this - and I don't like that at all. I did try to bring her on board, but she wasn't budging from the Loslos alliance, so I couldn't trust her not to tell Rick. Bummer - nice girl who has been letting Rick make all of her decisions for her. I hope that she adjusts to things if Rick gets voted off tonight and gives us a good reason to keep her around, rather than lashing out.

Oh yeah, and I'm pretty much just praying Darren, Adam, and Sherry are as good as their word! LOL Otherwise, I'm totally screwed "

Rick's Final Words:

As a 'player' I accept that I may not win and therefore may become a member of the Jury. I accept that as my 'punishment' for not winning. I joined the game to win, but I didn't, therefore I must serve my destitution and solitude as a member of the Jury.

Do NOT expect me to interact with Gary though.
I WILL accept updates from the game from you and I WILL cast my final vote, but I will NOT interact with Gary in any way shape or form. be THAT known now.

"Well I am kind of unsure. I am voting Adam, I can only hope that Debra follows suite. I guess I could be the next one gone, I just have to hope that we get our votes in first."

" I was extremely angry and lost when I discovered that Theresa had engineered a coup against our final 3 agreement. I'm not sure why she did it, other than she had it in her head that Rick was attempting to do the same thing. Which he had thought about doing, but I kept him to the final 3 agreement and pushed for voting out Adam. I guess in the final analysis his downfall is my fault. He KNEW that T was dangerous, I knew she was dangerous, but I thought it would be much more interesting to end up in the final 2 with a real opponent, either him or T.

I formed a temporary alliance with Adam this round in order to oust Darren. I've heard that he is typically a player that sits and waits to the last 5-6 and then begins to play the game. And that he's very good at the game. I feel it is his time to go, especially since he stabbed Rick in the back."

"Well right now not much is going on. I'm hoping that Deb and I can form a new plan and vote for Darren, and maybe have a little one after the new merge and maybe it be with Sherry and Theresa also. I'm also hoping that Sherry can and I know she can make it over on LosLos by herself. She's all alone over there, but maybe they can vote off Laura, so sherry can stay. But who knows. I'm just hoping to make the final 4 at this point. I'm also hoping that Rick isn't upset with me because I voted him out last time. I guess that's all at this point. Everyone is trying to make it to the top and win. Personally my goal is final 4 or final 3. "

"It was fun but know i can really put things into place. It will be fun til the end. The Alliance was followed by me til the end now we see who followed it through and who didnt. "

"I got voted out 5th, just like the last edition lol. I would like to wish everyone good luck with the game, I am totally not mad. How could I be when I voted out Rick. right?

"At Day 37 there is quite a few things going on. Everyone is running around like a chicken with their head cutt off trying to make deals and make it to the finals. I know what you are thinking I am too. I just wanna be in the finals because I've had to work harder at getting here than the ones from LosLos have. That twist we just had about going back into the 2 tribes really helped me. I was supposed to go next. So it really helped me! Right now Deb and I are trying to get sherry to vote of Theresa so we can get further and Deb and I made a final 2 deal. I dunno if I can keep it or not. We'll see what happens at the next vote. "

Theresa's Final Words:

Wow...I can't say I'm surprised after everything that happened over the last couple days.
This game has been interesting to say the least. I'm glad I played. I can't believe I made it to the final 4 - it really makes me feel proud! I'm happy with the way I played the game and until the last couple days, I really feel I played the best I could.

My mistake was believing Deb was still with me when I knew all along she wasn't. I just didn't want to believe it! It's ok though, I don't take it personally.

I would like to say, Deb, that I'm disappointed you chose not to vote and in your choice of a strategy by voting me off. I th ink you played with your heart, and not your head. But in the end, so did I! I know you wanted to try to maintain your promise not to vote for me, but it's kinda useless when you orchestrate my being voted out by everyone else! Have some guts and put my name down on the ballot for goodness sake! I expected better from you than to let other people do your dirty work! I still think you're a great lady and I hope to talk to you soon.

Adam, you goofy kid - you fell for Deb telling you what a schemer I was. I'm sorry about that. It might get you to the final 2, and it might even get you a win, but it lost you a little of my respect. I still like ya though, I just think you need to listen to ADAM once in awhile, and not everyone else. Can't wait to talk to you again.

Sherry, you made a couple of mistakes and one of them cost me the game. Not a big deal, I was wrong too. Don't forget my coasters! And you hang in there and fight damnit, this is STILL your game. You get yourself into that final 2 somehow.

Everybody else, there wasn't one of you I didn't truly like. I am glad to have met each and every one of you and hope to talk with you all again soon.

"I think I have a better chance of beating Adam than Sherry. I made a promise to Adam to not vote for him, no such promise with Sherry, even tho he's already told me that he voted for me.

I could vote for Sherry and be more certain that I'd beat Adam in the Final 2 or I could vote for Adam and hope that Sherry voted for him, but I seriously think I would lose against her. This was a very unusual game. If I knew at the beginning of this game what I know now, I might not have wanted to play. I expected the game to be a bit more than just sitting around picking each other off. As it became clearer and clearer that there weren't going to be any twists and turns....it became less fun to play.

Frankly, it seems amazing to me that Adam and Sherry made the final two. In a game where a level playing field existed this would have never happened. After myself and then Zora were voted out the tribe of Rick, Laura, Theresa, Darren, and Deb had a 5 to 2 advantage. How did both members of the minority make the final two?

I suppose Adam and Deb's E Survivor/Big Brother 4 alliance played a huge role. I suppose taking the easy way out is the only way some people can play. Or maybe, Rick, Laura, Darren, and Theresa just feel asleep. Oh wait, Sherry is the one who falls asleep in this crowd.

So, now we have Sherry who mysteriously forgot who I was once we merged. Incidentally, I'm proud to see that you didn't fall asleep when you voted me out. Instead, Sherry begged and begged the other tribe for safety like a dog in desperate need of a treat or rope. For someone who claimed to have lost interest in the game you seemed to really have perked up after the merge. The jury must wonder whether or not you had allies waiting for you on the other side.

Initially, I was going to decide this farce with a mere coin flip. However, a few memories changed my decision.

That brings us to dear sweet Adam, the knee rubbing, manipulative brat. The demon disguised as a good cherub. The choir boy who sings overtures for Satan himself. As a friend of mine form the Big Brother game would say, "tsk, tsk."

I've caught our fallen angel in a couple of twisted and wicked lies. First, Adam IM'd poor Kenny after he orchestrating his exit from the game. Isn't that against the rules to contact an eliminated player? Anyway, Adam told Kenny that is was "Gary's idea to vote you out". Don't think so my black winged angel. I was leaning heavily towards Zora when you suggested Kenny. Emails that I sent to Sam will verify this fact. You also lied to Kenny when you told him that the vote was based on his own request to leave the game. WRONG. The decision had already been made two days prior. Aren't you ashamed for being a coward? You didn't even have the decency to tell Kenny the truth when his opinion of the vote no longer affected the game. I think you owe Kenny and myself an apology.

Another lie - this one I suppose to set me up as a future jury member. Again, you illegally IM'd an eliminated player. You told me that Sam accidentally counted your vote for Rick as a vote against Zora. I didn't believe you for one second but I let the comment pass until now. Sam, can you confirm this for the jury? Did Adam vote for Rick or Zora during the vote in which Zora was eliminated. I would like to know the reason why Adam lied to me in this situation. Doesn't seem fair to the other players who weren't still alive in the game at that time.

Adam also left a sweet little message for me after Rick was eliminated. He sent me an offline instant message stating, "Rick, a threat? LOL. Not to me"

So, the black hearted thing lies, he cheats, he's arrogant and cocky, and he gloats.

Adam my child - I wouldn't cast my vote in your favor if you rubbed both of my knees.

How exactly did you get to this point? How did you get to the final two?

Zora, for me I am not really sure how I got to this point except to say that I did try to become friends with everyone in the game and I know there were a few people that I didn't make a big effort with and for that I will always regret. So I think by getting to know people besides just for game purposes helped me not get voted off. I don't think it was because I am any better or any more deserving than anyone else. I do think that it was possibly because people didn't think of me as a threat, which I really didn't think I was. Also by coming into the merge with less people I at times voted how others thought fit their best interest.

Rick's Question

"I give you two credit for making it to where you are in the game. However, by the Final Two being the two of you, it has actually made for a very difficult decision on my part. I have always said that I respect those that PLAY the game, however, I do not feel that you two have PLAYED the game. You saw a crack in the veneer of a strong alliance and rode that path of self-destruction all the way to where you sit now. No effort on your part. Maybe a little detective work to find out which way the vote was going as Loslos continued to self-implode while the two of you simply sat on the sidelines and watched it all happen. I was an early victim of that self-destruction, so I never really got much opportunity to interact with the two of you, and since Sam has posted nothing but the vote counts to me since I left the game, I have absolutely no reason to decide either way for either one of you. My task for each of you is to tell me, who respects someone who PLAYS this game, why you deserve my vote. And, don't feed me lip service or say what you think I want to hear. Tell me straight up, why do you deserve for me to vote for you. (Because at this point, I don't feel that either of you deserves the title, there are any number of us on this Jury that deserve it a whole hell of a lot more than either of you.) Then, the other thing I want for each of you to do is tell me why your opponent deserves to get my vote."

I respect someone who plays the game both hard and competitive but also uses their heart. You have got to have a little bit of heart to get along with people and make friends. Also I think Sherry deserves your vote because she is one that played with her heart by not upseting people and made friends and didn't let people know to much and that way they wouldn't be hurt by her decsion.

Rick I don't want to feed you any lip service as to why I think I deserve your vote. All I want to say to your comment is you are right I don't think I played this game as well as others have and I do think there are a lot of jury members that deserve to be here more than I do, however do to the way the game went for various different reasons these very deserving people are on the jury. I do believe that as far as the game goes I feel that I played an honest game. I did my best not to promise anyone I would vote a certain way or I wouldn't vote for them etc.. because I knew that if I had to I would. I did make promises though to certain people that if I was in a position that I had to vote for them in hopes to get myself further that I would tell them and they would do the same.

For me I think this was done by not appearing to be a threat in anyone's eyes as I know a lot of people felt I didn't play this game and maybe I didn't in the way they would have, but I was always thinking and seeing if there was a way to get myself past this next vote and it seemed to happen. I also think by some members of the Loslos tribe upsetting other members I was approached to help vote people out and as I said it was always done with the attitude I had to get past this vote knowing I was out numbered.

Theresa's Question

First, I'd like to say that the only disappointment I had in this game was knowing how many people were willing to use previous friendships and game play, and to use what happened in other games to influence this game. I wish that wasn't the case, and it makes it hard for folks who don't have those outside relationships. Other than that, it was a great game with great people who I really enjoyed meeting :-).

Congrats Adam and Sherry - you both came from behind and I think that's pretty cool, even though I wanted to be up there! LOL

My question is for both Adam and Sherry.

Of the numerous people in this game you two were NOT thought of as PLAYERS of the game. You are both there "by accident" so to speak, as there was no clear playing style from either one of you. So, I'd like each of you to tell me why the OTHER person deserves to win and how you viewed the OTHER's playing style.

Like I told Theresa, Sherry didn't ruffle alot of feathers and she stayed under the radar. She was nice in the game and made alot of friends. So that's why I think she needs to win. I saw her game style as under the radar and riding coat tails. Good luck voting.

Debra, I think Adam deserves to win because he is a great person and has never lied to me that I know of. I know that there are people that feel he's lied to them or whatever, however I never felt as though he lied to me. Anytime I approached him with an idea of how we should vote or whatever I asked for him not to say anything to anyone just incase he didn't feel the same way or whatever and he always kept my confidence again as far as I know. So I think Adam is a great person and I believe he is very deserving to win.

Sam, make a note that part of my motivation for my
final comments was to haze the final two. For this
game, I was going to do that no matter who was
up.(Except for Zora or Theresa) I figured I'd try
something different this time during the final
council. I wanted to provide some entertainment. If
anyone found my comments offensive I apologize. I
really don't mean any harm. However, I do stand by my
comments regarding the Kenny situation. Adam came to
me w/ the suggestion. I was leaning heavily towards
Zora until he made an offer. I would be interested in
knowing the truth about Adam's vote when Zora was
voted out.

My reason is pretty simple - I did make a deal w/
Sherry in the beginning of the game. I'm honoring my
agreement w/ this vote. There was nothing Sherry or I
could do about my chances once we lost the numbers
advantage due to two individual's personal feelings
about me from a past game.

Adam did play the game very well, probably better than
everyone else. However, I can't get over the fact
that part of his success was based on another online
game. I could have attempted the same path but I
chose not too because I don't believe in playing that
way. It detracts from the legitimacy of both games.

Again, no hard feelings to anyone. I hope some of my
comments were at least interesting.

Adam did not answer my question, really. He mimicked my words back to me. And, he APOLOGIZED for voting me out of the game! Bad Survivor Form! I would NOT have apologized if the tables were turned. It's part of the game, bud, get used to it.
Sherry admitted that she made no 'plays' on anyone since she knew she would have to eventually vote them out. I respect the honesty, and while it is not the 'norm' in this game, evidently, sometimes 'Good Guys/Girls do finish first'.

Sam, this game has been really fun. The no challenge idea was really awesome. It actually gave us players time to KNOW each other, instead of having to spend all our effort winning challenges. I really think I can come away with this game with ppl I will probably stay in contact with more than than any of the other games I've played. For anyone on the jury who says that being friendly and nice isn't a strategy, I think they're wrong. It certainly is a strategy, and one which both of these players used to their advantage. How many people wanted folks like Colleen & Neleh to win just because they were nice, friendly people?

My vote is for Sherry. I really didn't make up my mind until I read the answers to these questions.

With the exception of one vote, I have always voted based on game-play and not emotion. This is no exception. If I had tried to vote based on who I 'like', I'd have had to flip a coin!

Adam, the reason you aren't getting my vote is two-fold. Please don't take it personally. First, you admitted several times in here that you allowed other players to trick you into voting certain ways. Unfortunately for you, that tells me you got to the final 2 based more on luck than skill. Second, I know that you used influences outside the game to get to this point. I don't judge you for it, but it makes you less deserving of a win in my opinion. For what it's worth, I think you're a really great kid and I can't wait until we can talk again.

Sherry - you got here without using outside influences and I respect that. You truly did make up your own mind on every offer I presented to you, and took the time to think about things before jumping on the bandwagon. I respect that too.
