Most Haunted visits Mary Kings Close in Edinburgh.

Once Derek arrived he picked up on the spirits of a lot of people who he said were suffering from the plague. It's true that in the 1600's the close was put into quarantine to stop the plague spreading. At around this time Yvette hears what she describes as a cry! The noise is captured on tape but it's origin is unknown.

Later Derek senses the presence of Thomas Weir who actually lived in Edinburgh. There is no known connection between him and the close. He was executed for witchcraft in the late 1600's. Derek also senses the presence of a small child, a little girl.

This time the team is joined by medium Derek Ogilvie. He picks up on a cobbler called James Brown as well as a lady who has been spotted on the stairs on many occasions. Derek sensed the presence of a man who had a devastating effect on him, he became ill and was unable to continue.

Later during the vigils, Cath film an orb at almost the same time a clicking sound is heard.

On entering a room known as Annie's room because of the spirit of the little girl associated with it, Tom claims a small child's toy is thrown past his head! The toy comes to rest in the corner of the room. The toys are brought to the room by visitors for Annie because a medium once said that the little girl was lonely. Karl asks Tom if he was sure about the toy because it's so dark it's hard to see anything, nut Tom replies that he had his torch on at the time and is sure or what he saw!

I don't usually add what happened in Most Haunted Extra, but on this occasion I think it's worthwhile. The extra footage shown in this episode is worth a note. First of all the seyonce held with Yvette, Richard and other crew members has some strange things happening. While Richard asks for any spirits to make contact a stone is thrown at the crew, it can be heard rattling off the walls nearby.

The next scene expands on the child's toy Tom witnessed being thrown when he entered one of the rooms. The extra footage shows the crew holding vigil in the room and asking for the little girl to move the teddy again. It is a little later on that Tom notices that something is in the middle of the circle of crew members. When Karl looks with the night vision camera he tells everyone that the teddy bear is now in the middle of them! How it got there nobody can explain. Karl states it would have been impossible for a crew member to have moved it there without being spotted by someone or a locked off camera. Furthermore when the vigil comes to an end the crew notice that the bear toy has now rotated through 180 degrees and is facing the other way! Nobody knows or has any explanations as to how this could happen.
