Karl Beattie is a camera man on Most Haunted.
He is married to Yvette and between them they
produce Most Haunted with their production
company Antix.
Karl is a martial arts expert and one of the
few people outside Japan to be given the honored
title of Samurai.
Ciarán
O'Keeffe Series
5 to present as resident investigator
Ciarán is Most Haunted's paranormal
investigator. He works at Liverpool Hope University
were he is a Parapsychologist. It is Ciarán's
responsibility to ensure that every care is
taken in an investigation to discount natural
or fraudulent occurrences being passed off
as paranormal. He also perfoms base line tests
- these tests are performed to rule out natural
phenomena being mistaken for the paranormal.
Stuart
Torevell
Stuart is the rigger on the
Most Haunted crew. He sets up lighting and
cables for the team. Besides this he has
taken an active and sometimes fearless part
in investigations! His vigils with Karl
have also provided some of Most Haunted
funniest moments - especially when they
start causing each other to panic!
Saying this, he is one of
the bravest people on the show! Stuart tends
to walk were others fear to tread!
Derek Acorah
Derek
Acorah was Most Haunted's spiritual medium.
A medium is a person who believes that they
can communicate with the spirits of people
who have passed over to the other side after
death. He has a spirit guide called Sam
who he claims to have met in a past life.
An essential part of the Most Haunted team,
The medium has no prior knowledge of the
place the team is heading.
Once he arrives Derek soon picks up on the
ghostly inhabitants of the location and
gives the team valuable information on who
the spirit person is and why they are still
coming back from the other side.
Derek left Most Haunted and
now has his own show Derek Acorah's Ghost
Towns
Cath
Howe
Cath is the make-up artist
for the Most Haunted crew! If this was any
other program this would mean very little
to the viewer, but on Most Haunted, Cath has
become an integral part of the team. She is
a veteran of many investigations and has taken
part in seyonces and table tipping experiments
on numerous occasions! A much liked member
of the team by the fans!
David
Wells
David is a spiritualist medium. He joins the
team on investigations and along with Derek
links in with spirits and gives information
about the location and its past.
John Gilbert
John Is Most Haunted's current
sound man.
Phil
Whyman
- series 2 till 4
Phil Whyman is to date the teams longest serving
paranormal investigator. First appearing in
Scream Team, Phil joined Most Haunted at the
start of series 2. Phil left to pursue other
interests at the end of series 4. Phil was
a firm favorite of the fans!
Jason
Karl
- series 1
Jason was Most Haunted
first paranormal investigator, he left the
show after only one series.
Tom
O'Carroll
Tom used to work as a sound
man for the team - he was one of the teams
longest serving members. He witnessed many
strange things while working for Most Haunted
but always was ready to question what he
believed and never jumped to conclusions!
Rik
Fielding
Rik is the brother of Yvette
and worked along side her as a camera man
from the start of Most Haunted until the end
of the 4th series.
John
Dibley
John is a camera man by profession,
but besides his skill behind the camera he
is also a long serving member of the Most
Haunted crew. His skeptical reasoning behind
what he witnesses ensures that he keeps a
level head when all other lose theirs!
