This week
the Most Haunted team visited Jamaica Inn which is situated
in Cornwall. It has a long and varied past with links
to highway men and smugglers!
The team was once again joined by psychic, Ian Lawman
who helped Derek find out more about the spirits at Jamaica
Inn. Once the investigation was underway Derek had picked
up on some of the past inhabitants of the location. One
such visitor was the spirit of a man who appeared in
a long green coat and wore a hat similar to the ones
wore by highway men. Derek pointed out that he was a
smuggler and not a highwayman. This particular spirit
has been seen by people who have stayed in the Jamaica
Inn. Other spirits included those of a mother and child
that Derek said had been murdered! They are said to appear
in one of the guest rooms.
Once Derek had finished his part of the investigation
the rest of the team switched to night vision cameras
and continued to investigate the Inn further. In the
room where Derek had sensed the spirit of the mother
and daughter a noise could be heard, but when the team
search the room for it's cause they discover that the
connecting door that leads to the bathroom is opening
and closing slightly. The team check to see if a breeze
is causing the door to move but none is found, the reason
for the doors movement is unknown.
Later the team return to the room with Ian to see what
he can sense, he claims that the mother and child are
in the room, it is around this point when Yvette thinks
she can see a face of a women in the mirror of the room!
It is hard to make out what the image is in the mirror,
but as Ian tells the women to leave this world and head
to the light of the next world, the image in the mirror
seems to fade away!
When the team go to investigate the boiler room, things
start to happen. Yvette thinks she can see the silhouette
of a hanging man, while the rest of the team hear noises
culminating in a load crashing sound that sends the team
running out and terrified!
