Croxteth Hall is a 210 room mansion just 5 miles from Liverpool's city centre. The site is supposed to be haunted by members of the family who used to live there, who return because they love the place so much!
A picture of what some people say is a ghost was taken in one of the corridors, it shows a strange shadowy figure at the far end of the passage, but is it really a ghost or just a trick of the light?

Once the Investigation starts Derek makes contact with a group of ladies who are comforting a maid who seems to be very upset, it is when Derek is talking that a number of bangs can be heard from what appears to be the room above. Phil goes to investigate but finds no trace of anyone or anything that could have caused them.

Psychic artist Brain Shepard also appears in this episode, he draws a picture of two young girls who he says are connected to the place, he then draws a picture of a man and says the man demanded to be drew! He says the man was called William Creevy or Creedy, I'm not sure which?

Derek also picks up on a spirit called Augustus who he says was a nasty evil person when he was alive. He says he still causes trouble to this day.

This episode sees Mathew Smith join the team on a investigation for the first time. He is a parapsychologist from Liverpool Hope University, he is a regular on Most Haunted live. As the Investigation continues, more noises are heard from above so Karl goes into the attic area with a camera to see if he can find out what is making the noise, while he is up there a plank falls to the ground making a huge bang, below Mathew Smith and the rest of the team are startled by the sudden noise, they go and see if Karl is alright. Karl isn't sure if the plank fell or if he accidentally knocked it when he was moving.

Soon Derek picks up on a couple more spirits one called Mary and another called Philip Molyneux, Molyneux is the name of the family that inhabited Croxteth hall for many, many years. Derek says Philip is the shadowy one, he says people will have seen him, maybe relating to the picture??

As the team splits up to investigate the huge building, some members catch light anomalies on camera while others hear noises that sound like footsteps. When members of the team go to investigate the wine cellar they hear more noises from one side of the room, then after a period of inactivity they decide to leave, it's when they are on their way out that something crashes to the floor. When the team calm down, they look to see what made the noise and find a metal candle holder on the floor, none of the team can remember if it was there when they went in or not?

As the night drew on one team member,Stuart, went to the attic bedrooms on his own to investigate, no sooner had he entered one of the rooms that a knocking can be heard from the corridor outside, when he goes to investigate he finds nothing that could have made the noise. Before he can take another step more knocking is heard followed by a bang that finally sends Stuart fleeing the building! Stuart can't account for the noises and has no wish to go back to see if he can find out!
