An instructor from the fire department will teach infant and child CPR. This is important information for all parents and teachers--don't put it off! We'll discuss temper tantrums (your child's and your own) and ways to facilitate the peaceful resolution of disagreements at home and preschool.

Do you ever feel that when you are speaking, no one is listening? And did you know that listening is just as important a part of communication as speaking? Participate in an interactive class where we will explore skills to help adults speak effectively to children so they will listen. And in turn how to really listen to what children are saying so that they will talk to you.

HOLIDAY GIFT MAKING

Help children learn what gift giving means by helping them create gifts to give friends and family. This class is designed so adult and child can work together to make gifts they will take with them at the end of the session. In addition, many ideas will be shared for use at a later time. But power struggles aren't just about winning and losing. This class will focus on strategies to help avoid, diffuse, and resolve power struggles, while exploring emotions and needs behind daily hassles.
