Journey  (Experiments in Sound), 1997

Journey is a learning piece of electronic music done exclusively on the SY-77 synthesizer. I utilize sounds and samples that allow me to interact with and learn how to use the synthesizer. The result is a journey for the listener through the soundscapes of soothing tranquility to harsh industrial-like qualities. There are four main thems and each new theme spawns and intuitive idea for adding or subtracting sounds that would enhance the overall presentation and flow of the piece.

Sneak For Palm Pilot, 2002

Sneak is a mixture of electronic sounds emulating from a Palm Pilot. Written on a Palm VII using a music program developed by Minimusic, this piece is handheld computer generated sound. Effectively using synthesizer qualities in the palm of my hand. The format is drawn purely from improvisation put together layer by layer. Each new layer compliments the one before by sneaking in and around the previous layer(s) The introduction of the section layer is a repeat of the first before taking on its own personality. This creates a play between the succeeding layers and the previous ones as each new personality starts to shine, then needing to work together towards the end, as if coming to an agreement.
