She is very self-conscious of this and over the years has become introverted and anti-social. While she avoids interaction with too many people, Corrine has a strong connection with animals. To help her overcome the tragedy of her sister�s death, and her resulting aversion to runner beasts, a family friend (Meeka�s father) hired her to care for his herd beasts and runners. At fifteen, two years after the incident, she became an apprentice in beasthealing. After earning her journeywoman status she returned to the area she grew up in to care for the animals of Vamori Hold. Timeline 10-19-195: Sister Merine is thrown from a runner beast, breaks her neck and dies. Corri was leading the animal at the time. 4-11-197: Leaves home to become an apprentice beast healer. 2-23-207: Earns rank of journeywoman. 5-2-207: Returns to Vamori Hold. Personality Corrine is very introverted, and has a hard time expressing her feelings. She only interacts with people who aren�t her close family and friends if she absolutely has to. When in public she is very self conscious and easily embarrassed, but when doing her job she becomes assertive and completely sure of her self. Pets A runner beast named Enirem (Merine backwards). Eni (pron. Enny) is similar to today�s Dutch warmbloods in coloration (dark redish-brown.) Corri also has a blue firelizard named Thing. Thing was a gift from a traveler who she once helped.
