Physical Description Eye color/shape: Brown/If he were mean his eyes would be beady, but since they're always smiling they merely appear a tad small for his face Hair color/style: Light brown, the color that turns up as gray in the memory, but if one actually looks at it it's dirty blondish/About an inch and a half or so all around, and messy--basically bed-head. Height/Weight/Build: 6'2"/215lbs/Chunky Complexion: Light enough that he sunburns, and it peels off instead of becoming a tan Distinguishing marks: Childhood scars, moles--the usual, nothing outrageous. Handedness: Right Jewelry/weapons: A small emergency vile of numbweed is always tucked into a belt case. A plain knife, and a few marks also make their homes in Turron's belt pouches Clothing: #1 rule is comfort, after that he has no preference at all Background Turron considers himself the black sheep of the family. He was the only child who left the hatching grounds dragonless after each standing. His only un-rider relative, his half-sister Uphia, rejected being searched for her passion--music. After his twenty-fifth birthday, when he was considered too old to impress he, decided to become a healer. But it was too painful to be dragonless around friends and family who were lucky enough to make that life long bond, yet he knew he couldn't bear a life away from the magnificent creatures he had grown up loving. So, he decided to transfer to the most remote of the weyrs, Morning's Dawn. There, he became took over the care of two foster children from one of the cooks who already had responsibility for seven children. They usually stick close to his side while he studies, and play with the other bundle of weyrbrats when he's working. Timeline I184/10/6- Turron is born I199/3/4 to P08/11/2- Turron stands on the hatching grounds at Igen, and is rejected. P09/5/21- Turron transfers to Morning's Dawn Personality His sense of humor outweighs all of Turron's personality traits. He's the sort of person who hides his true feelings behind jokes and laughter. If he can't be the hero, he might as well steal the show with a few laughs. On the rare moment, though, he can prove himself to be serious, and sensitive, telling tale of the damaged goods he is inside. He feels like he's somehow failed by not becoming a dragon rider like the rest of his family. With his foster children he is very loving, and does his best at cheering them up. He makes sure to let them know that no matter what they become, rider or herder, he will love them. Pets Two brown firelizards, Twit and Tat. They were gifts from his foster mother when he didn't impress the last time Other Turron learned how to juggle from a harper, and misses no opportunity to show off this talent Craft Craft: Healing, officially people, but he is trying to pick up dragon healing skills as well. Master: Grecian Specialty: Turron is especially good at cheering patients up with his sense of humor, and of course juggling. He loves children and will always volunteer to be the one who takes care of the skinned knees and tummy aches. Rank and Location: Apprentice at Morning's Dawn Weyr Strengths: Since he just entered the craft he has yet to discover anything he is particularly strong in. Weaknesses: His major weakness is that he doesn't like to study out of books. He hates learning anatomy and herbology, and would much rather be doing hands on work.
