Shandra, Mornings Dawn Weyr Lowercavern worker, Foster mother to Fauna Age: 29 Shandra was born at Keogh Hold, the daughter of a herdsman and a cook. She was the second of five children and grew up helping her mother and two sisters. When she was fifteen she and her family went to a gather at Nabol Hold. Searchriders from Mornings Dawn Weyr searched her and she accepted. She failed to impress at the hatching but decided to stay on as a candidate for the next hatching. So it went until the candidatemaster finally order her out when she was eighteen when it became obvious that she wasn't going to impress. Shandra stayed at the Weyr, working in the lower caverns. Over the turns she's had three children and is currently fostering Fauna. Shandra is of medium height, with a rather stocky build that came from her father. She has long dark brown hair and green/blue eyes. She's a very friendly woman and she likes to talk about anything and everything. She mainly works in the nursery, but sometimes she'll get drafted into other tasks. She loves children and enjoys spending time with her own as well as Fauna.
