M'kel on Blue Xyrenth Wingrider, Sunblaze Wing Age: 21 Mykel was born at Telgar Weyr, the product of a green's mating flight. He grew up at the Weyr as a typical weyrbrat and at age fifteen one of the search dragons selected him to stand on the sands at one of the gold's hatching's. He failed to impress and stayed on as a candidate. Telgar Weyr 'swapped' him to Mornings Dawn Weyr a short time later and he stood on the sands and impressed the blue Xyrenth, changing his name to M'kel. He graduated weyrlinghood with few misshapes and began life as a dragonrider. M'kel is rather short and stocky, with well-developed arm muscles and short cropped blonde hair. He has a good sense of humor and is well liked by most of the other riders. He does tend to show off in front of people, but usually not to the point of getting himself in trouble. He's Neona's closet friend and loves spending time with her and Fauna, even though it's his interest in the rider are more in a brotherly way than anything else.
