It doesn't make any difference to her what she wears as long as it fits and it's clean Background Lira grew up a bit lonely and often spent time with her friends. Her father passed on while her mother was pregnant with her from a farming accident and her sisters died from the plague. Life was hard for them for the longest time, and when her mother became involved with another man, Lira was most happy for her. But after a couple of years, the man started to show his true colors of ugliness and abuse. Lira would often fight with him, yelling at him to leave her mother alone and would often get a pop in the mouth for it. She would spend most of her time with her best friend Turi than at home because of this man. One day, her mother just had enough of him and told him to leave. He started to argue and she threatened him with an iron frying pan. It was the funniest thing Lira had ever seen. After another year or so another man came into her life, Jorin. He was a nice man, a respectable farmer whose wife had died from the plague. Lira was much happier with this one and didn't feel so bad when she was searched and realized that she would be leaving her mother. This man would take good care of her, she was sure, so she came to the Weyr along with Turi and impressed at the hatching. She could walk up to a total stranger and make a conversation with the feeling in air that they've know each other for years. Unlike her friend, Lira is most opinionated. She tends to stick her nose into other peoples business without a second thought and is always happy to offer her opinions whether their wanted or not. She means well, but sometimes she gets carried away. Pets n/a Other Lira likes to go on walks with her best friend Turi. Well actually the better term for it would be hikes. Turi loves to climb anything and everything Lira loved to follow. One time when they were younger, Turi had to be rescued when he climbed to the top of a tree and couldn't make his way down again.
