Landing on Tukayyid scarce days before the Smoke Jaguars, the remnants of the Morgan command thought that the incoming dropships were more Wolves, and that the fortifications were Rasalhague. After finding out that it was the Comguards, they had little choice but to stay and fight, as the Smoke Jaguars were already deploying their ships into orbit. For the next twenty days Morgan proved herself as one of the premier commanders in the field.

Though outgunned and outnumbered in nearly every conflict in which they took part, the Marauders were not part of the Comguard and did not take part in their battle plan. Precentor Martial Focht had promised them as much salvage as they could carry; if they fought and survived. Smoke Jaguars, Nova Cats, Jade Falcons; all felt the fury of a unit with nowhere left to run.

As the campaign slowed and closed to the Ghost Bear and Wolf Clans the fighting became more intense. Once again Morgan faced off with her nemisis- the 13th Wolf Guards. Shortly before the final battle in Porozistu Mountains Rebecca Morgan learned the identity of the 13th's acting commander. As a the rains began to fall she challanged him to a duel.

The fight that followed earned the warrioress of the Inner Sphere a place in the Wolf Clan Rememberance, as she took her barely functioning Crab against the traitor's fresh Clan upgraded Wolfhound. With open com channels to both sides they taunted each other with bits of the past at the Nagelring, and it looked as if Phelan of the Wolves would win the battle. Just as the Wolf warrior closed in for the kill, Morgan hit him with twin laser barrages and two quick punches, destroying Phelan's gyroscope. Steam rising from her damaged fusion engine, Morgan let him punch out of his crippled 'mech; the final battle was about to be fought. As the thunderstorm raged around them, the remaing company of Maruauders prepared to die.

Then the battle was over, and the Wolves were declared the victors in their series of engagements, though the Comguard had won. In recognition of their fighting abilities, Precentor Focht himself offered the Maruauders a contract, and promised to send a Precentor with them to Outreach to clear their name.
