This project never started as a project at all.  I needed a new truck or car back in '95, and I was looking for an S10 or a Cavalier. Luckily, I picked the S10, then I was bitten by the bug....the MiniTruckin' Bug....and what a bite it gave me.

I put the truck together the first time in a matter of 18 months.  The truck looked hot, brought in tons of compliments, and even took home trophies and awards at numerous shows.  The truck remained unchanged for quite some time.  Then I decided it was time for a change, something had to be different.  I wanted more from my truck.  And, the way the minitruckin world was going, it had to be, without any question, bagged, shaved, clean in and out, and outstanding engine bay, etc etc etc.

So I started Project S10.

An airbag suspension was first, then custom tube work in the rear with a step notch.  Then the  frame was stripped of everything, sandblasted, then painted.  Every single suspension component was chromed. The engine and its components were painted, powdercoated, and/or chromed.  The drivetrain was powdercoated.  Everything was touched.
Project S10 is still pretty distant from completion, but as you can see, it has come a long way from what it was when I first bought it, and after the first buildup.
This is the last buildup for Project S10. The majority of the truck should be done in Year 2004; hopefully only to be awaiting paint for 2005, and other minor modifications.
