Inspiration .......
There are so many things that have inspired me. Some that Im proud of.. and some that Im a bit embarrassed to let anyone know except those closest to me... not because the things themselves are embarassing but rather that its more about pride and wanting to share the closest of things with those people I love... not the masses.

So whats the best book that you've ever read? When I woke up in my life and realised just what I had the power to do and and the effect that each of us has in life, well Im glad to say there have been some things that Ive either seen, experienced or been a part of that has helped mold me to who I am. I think we all have this. Let me share with you just some of those books that I've read that not only have touched me but have also spoken to who I am.
  - "
Into The Mouth Of The Cat" by Malcolm McConnell
I tell you, I've never been so proud to be an American reading this story. Its a true account and it makes me cry every time I read it.

  - "
A Sense Of Honor" by James Webb
For anyone who's been in a military school can identify with this story. I swear there were so many times when I not only vividly recalled my experiences but also I swore I could smell things as I was transplanted back there. Just an amazing book.

  - "
The Brotherhood of War" by W.E.B. Griffin
What these books are not about is so much the act of war as it is the people who are forced into these situations and how they deal with them with dignity, compassion and honor.... "Got Mitt Uns"

So this list is looking like it's pretty much all military stuff I know. It's just that I've never been a 'reader' for pleasure because there was never anything interesting to read until a man I very much respected (MSgt James Graham) suggest that I read a book called "Into The Wild Blue" or something like that (sorry its been like since forever that I picked up that book) Anyway, thats what helped to motivate me to read for pleasure. Since that time I've read a few other books but my all time book hands down, has to be:

  - "The Marble Faun" by Natahniel Hawthorne
This book is not only beautiful but it speaks volumes to what I believe in and it main character 'Donatello' is where I get my screen name from when chatting on line. He is the man I am.... on the inside. Simple, deep, compassionate - Well maybe thats more than I should have ever said. The rest you'll have to figure out for yourself.

Things that people have said to me that have meant something:

We all have things that mean things to us. I'm no different. I know the one thing that tops my list of all time favorite things is when my oldest bro says "I love you" ... It gets me everytime!.. I love you too, more than I can say!

As for the things that people have said to me that I will always remember:

Kevin: "You're SO money, and you don't even know it"

Gregg: "You're like.... Milktoast" (Yeah I know its not a complement to most....)

Mr. K: "You're a good kid, don't let Anyone tell you different!!"

.... This list will continue as I recall different stuff..
