My Motivation
So this is where you get to learn of what I love to listen to. I guess like most people what I listen to is dictated more on the mood that I'm in at the moment, but that can't always be heald true.

At any given time when I'm out & about you'll most likely see me with a pair of headphones on listing to the latest mix f whatever I downloaded... Now that I have my iPod I dont know how I have lived without one for all these years. Ahhh well the Mini Disk platform  has served me well for all these years so I guess I really cant complain.. plu si have to keep up with the Jones'......

My musical tastes are wide and varied, everything from Classical to Modern Rock to Electronica & Trip Hop (yes that is a classification!!) I've been listening to more Trip-Hop over tha last year though. More than likely I'll listen to it... with the exception of that crap some people call Rock & Roll thats just a lot of noise (Rush, Poison and any of those other 'hair bands' uuuhg! I would much rather listen to country any day than that kinda crud... Hey this is MY web page so I can say what I want!!)

What I have tried to do here is list some artists with hyperlinks to thier sites so you can either check them out of maybe listen to a sample of thier stuff,.. if not buy it... hey Im just tryin to be nice here.

Groove Armada / Overseer / The Cure / Depeche Mode / Sigur Ros / Joy Division / New Order / Black Crowes / Chemical Brothers / Crystal Method / Puccini / Enya / Counting Crows / REM / Greatful Dead / Ferente / Billie Holiday / Ella Fitzgerald / Miles Davis / Rage Against the Machine / Maceo Parker / Sting / Hootie and the Blowfish / Alice in Chains / Ambient / PortisHead / Six Pence None the Richer / The Sundays / The Cranberies / Enigma / Des'ree / 10,000 Maniacs / Natalie Merchant / INXS / Van Morisson / Morrissey / Matchbox 20 / Alanis Morrisset / The Smiths / Seal / Sade / Ani DiFranco / Dave Matthews Band / Nick Drake / Red House Painters / Badly Drawn Boy / Basement Jaxx / Mr Scruff / Beth Orton / VNV NationPaul Van Dyk / Faithless / ChicaneMinistry of Sound (not a band but rather label)    / various Classical and even some Rap.... but this is only a condensed list!

My all time favorite artist, if I could only choose one, would have to be Van Morisson. After '86 he started leaning towards a 'spiritual' sound with his lyrics. It just makes me feel SO GOOD to listen to his stuff, I think I have almost every cd of his and he just keeps on getting better. There are some that I don't care for but overall he's the best.

As you can see the list above is VERY eclectic, I guess it depends on the mood that I'm in as to what I have in my player. Infact I listen more to cd's and my iPod more then the radio, Ive found that NYC radio sucks I mean REALLY Sucks. LA is much better for radio stations heck even Columbus, OH (I spent a year there) has better radio stations, so thats why if you see me I have my headphones on listening to my iPod.

As for SOME of my play Lists you can check them out here:

Downbeat       Jazz    Hockey Mix      Starlight
Going Away   House    Rap     Love      Sadness

But this is in no way is a complete collection of my music. This representats only about 15% of what I have.

ROCK ON!!
