Autumn on Great Moose Lake |
Autumn on Great Moose lake is simply breathtaking. Sometimes the foliage starts to turn the last week in September and peeks around mid October, some years it can be as late as Halloween. One thing is for sure, if you book a week in October or early November, you're bound to see some brilliant New England foliage. |

View of Northeast cove taken on October 30th. As you can see, not much color left, just a few late season birchs and oaks about to shed the last of their leaves. |

It was immediately obvious it was going to be a late foliage season from these photos from Pat Kelley, she took them around Oct 1st, typically, at this time of year, the maple at the water is brilliant reds and oranges, didn't happen this year. |
