| 7) Town Hall & Meeting Rooms Mayor Higgbet Brinestealer resides here, a fair and just man looking over the Hamlet with pride and care, qualities not often found in local governement. Higgbet is an ex-merchant sailor, making his money on the trade routes to the mainland, now passing away his autumn years with his wife Potai, a young lady from the eastern kingdoms. The building has a large meeting room along with a few smaller meeting rooms and a public bath, fed by hot mineral springs that flow deep below Apple Lane. |
| 8) Apple Lane Orphanage About 15 children reside here, many sent from the City, found vagrant on the streets. Old Mother Jenna looks after them with help from the rest of the village, the children in return keep the village clean and tidy |
| 9) Tingles Dice and Card Emporium Gutbut Tingle, a gnome of a sly persuasion runs a small gambling house here. Many of the farmers from the area and some city folk will travel here for a game of cards or chance, looking to make thier fortune, but usually leaving with empty pockets |
| 12) Alberts Lodgings Cheap and Cheerful rooms for the night are here, run by Albert Fineworthy and his son Bob. Many of the caravans from the surrounding villages or the nomads of the eastern area of the isle will stop off here for the night on their journeys. |
| 11) The Wise Old Womans Hut On the northern edge of the hamlet is the wise old womans hut. There are 3 things you should know about the wise old woman. 1. She is Wise, 2. She is old and 3. She is a woman. She is also a skilled herbalist, with some latent clairvoyany abilities too it would seem |
| 10) Weigh In This is where the farmers of the area come to weigh in their goods and pay taxes ready for its transport to the city. |
| 13) Tim Murgentroyd Minstral to Kings Tim, a bard of dubious talents, lives here. He claims to have once played for the largest courts in the known world, and some of the unknown parts too. He blames his "failing skill on the instruments of poor craftsmanship he has to use here". Though why his tales are so tall and his jokes lacking any humour is yet to be explained |
