Sitting here at home listening to the radio. They are advertising all the haunted houses. I havent been to a haunted houe in years. My most memorable haunted house was when i was probably 9 years old.
I went with my dad and my brother troy. For a 9 year It was damn scary. I came in a room and they had a strobe light going on, Frankenstein came out and scared the shit out of everyone. Ol frank saw me and picked me up above his head.
(they could do that back then) Now I guess they can't even touch you. My dad and brother got a big laugh out of that.
Im trying to get my guest book up and going. I want to know if people are actually visiting.
The internet at work has been really crappy lately. I went in to try and check my mail, and had no luck at all. Don't you hate it when you cant check your email?
So anyway, we went out last night to go singing. Actually I will not get up and sing. Not even with 10 beers in me. I wont put people through that agony.
I can sing great when I am in my car with the stereo blasting. Hell I think Im better than Bono, and Eddie Vedder put together. That is until I turn down the volume. Trust me it is pretty bad.
Jenn did a wonderful time as usual. We also met some people from England. They were really cool. We sat and talked with them for a long time. They decided to get visa's and come work in the states for 3 months. They work for the fair. Great job. Im sure they are seeing america's best. You can't beat the fair's employees.
I was always afraid of them when I was little. It is probably a great job for these three. They will definatly get to see a lot of the states, and still get paid for it. We all sat and talked about the differences between our countries and drank lots of beer. I ended up getting pretty messed up.
When we left Jenn and I came back here and Watched some of the movie "Rudy". I love that movie. I didnt make it through the whole thing. I had to pass out. I woke up this morning with a HUGE hangover.
After Jenn woke me up to say goodbye I couldnt really get back to sleep. It was pretty rough. I showed up at work, both Dawn and Michele could tell I was hung over bad. What can I say... It has been a long time since I have done that.
I might be going over to Windy's house on Friday after work. That should be fun. Tonight I took Jon (not my roomate, but my other friend... Graphic Design Jon) to dinner.
He helped me quite a bit with my site so I repaid him with dinner. Jon is also a DJ. He just put up a site about his cd and stuff. I was talking to him about his cd and stuff, I asked if he knew anyone who needed a vocalist. He said "yeah I do. preferably a female".
I then told him that Jenn is looking for a band and stuff. So I got Jenn to come talk to him. Maybe they can work something out. I hope so. Jenn really needs to get into a band. Maybe I can video tape some of her performance and upload it to the web.
We'll see. I hate commercials on the radio. Well I am going to go and try to figure out this guest book stuff. Take care!

So I came home last night, sat down and started typing and my fingers just refused to type. I was really exhausted. Yesterday my day was pretty good at work. It wasn't too bad.
Then "the customers" came in. I have been working with these specific customers now for awhile on two separate jobs. They both have been complete pains in my ass.
The first guy comes in and wants yet another revision done on his job. I have already redone the entire thing 2 times and yet he is still not happy with it. I think he was just testing my patience. Well lets just say Dan ran out of patience last night.
I basically told the guy I could make the change, but it would cost him. He didn't really like that so he said he would take his business elsewhere.
OUCH!!! owwww you really hurt my feelings on that one pal. People dont ever say this to someone who works with the public. It doesn't hurt our feelings, and chances are we WANT you to go somewhere else. And in this case I definitely wanted this guy to take his business some place else.
I was thinking. "Great! bye, dont let the door hit you in your ass on the way out!" After that he said he wanted to talk to a manager. I had to go get Adam, and he had to deal with the guy. Sorry bout that one Adam.
Well that guy pissed me off. I just hate it when people think just because they are the customer they can take advantage of people and get everything their way. I'm sorry but I do not condone this behavior. He ended up leaving. Not 2 minutes later another lady came in that was a pain. I'm not going to get into that one. It was just another bad deal.
After I got off work I went out to a country bar with Jenn. They were having a karaoke contest. Jenn got up and sang "Crazy" by Patsy Klein She rocked the song. Everyone was going wild. I was like "Ohhh Jenn is gonna win the 50 bucks!!" It turns out if 5 people don't sign up for the contest they dont offer the money. Does this suck or what?
After the girls heard Jenn sing, no one entered. I guess she scared them all. I was pissed. I told the manager that he shouldn't offer a contest if they are not going to follow through. Am I wrong here? Jenn was really pissed too. The guys had 5 to enter so they ended up having a winner there. I told the manager that Jenn would go up against the guys.
Jenn got up and sang one more song. It was Jewel. Man she is so good. Everyone was applauding her. I looked at the manager and said "see!" He came over to me and apologized for the rules. I told him that if he wanted to make the whole karaoke thing work then he needed to be consistent and keep the people coming back for more.
Oh well. I think I just was in a bad mood from the start. Jenn and I played against a couple in pool and won both games. I came home last night and crashed.
This morning I got up and took Jenn and her roomates to the airport. They are flying to NY for the weekend.
I am probably going to go hang out with Windy tonight. She cannot find a sitter so she asked if i wanted to hang out with her. I said sure! That is about it. Thanks for letting me dump on you in this entry. I needed that!
I am bugging the shit out of my roommate jon to get my guest book up. He is going to help me out with that one. Adam at work has been asking when I am going to get it up. SOON ADAM!!!!!!
