Well Today was very interesting. I went to bed last night at like 4 in the morning. I just wasn't tired, I knew I didn't have to get up until late, So I slept in rather late. I am ashamed of even telling you this. But I kept waking up and looking at the clock. It kept getting later and later. I finally crawled out of bed at 3:45pm. That is sooo bad. I slept the whole day away.
My only defense is my bed. I have my bed hooked up big time. I have a queen size bed, with the waffle mat in it, you know the little sponge mat that goes under the sheet. Well on top of the waffle mat is a feather bed. Yep my bed is VERY comfortable. I believe if you are going to spend a lot of time in something it should be comfortable.
Well I got up and got ready for the restaurant job. Before i went to work I went to my other job and picked up my paycheck. Not too bad. I had like 10 hours of overtime. It was pretty decent. I then went and waited tables for about 6 hours. Nothing really interesting there.
One thing I need to say about tonight. I was sitting there running around catering to my tables and I noticed something. Parents really don't keep an eye on their kids these days. Everytime I go to work it never fails. Kids are running all over the restaurant. I am sorry but parents... WAKE THE HELL UP!!!
I almost dropped a full tray of fajitas all over some little kid because he thought it was recess time at school. I would have lost my job because they would have said it was my fault.
I know for a fact when I was growing up I was not allowed to leave the table. If I did leave the table I went with my mom or dad to the restroom and straight back. Well that was my just an observation I noticed tonight.
After work We decided to meet at Harrisons. It turned out only a few people showed up. We had a few beers then we decided to go to Sarahs. We figured that is where everyone was at.
We showed up and found Jenn (a new hostess) and Leo, a bar guy. We sat around for awhile and had a few shots. Basically bullshitted for awhile. Well Let me stop there and give you a little history here.
Sarah and I used to see each other on and off. Her and I used to be really close. We would party all the time and just have a great time. I really got to know her. Well I loved sarah, just was not in love with her.
I had a great time with her as a friend, but I just didn't see her as a girlfriend. I knew she liked me more than just a friend. We talked and I told her how I felt. I told her that I wanted to be friends and that was it. I knew she wanted more, but I thought we would work it out.
I really didn't want to lose what we did have and that was a great friendship. Lets face it, I loved hanging out with her, I just didn't want more.
Well one night sarah came over with a guy named Tony. I didn't think anything of it at first. We all sat around and talked. Well I started to notice that they were getting touchy feely and all that stuff. Now don't get me wrong I want sarah to be happy and I would love to have her meet the perfect guy. But the fact is she has tried to make me jealous in the past. And that is exactly what she was up to now.
I just thought it was really shitty for her to bring a guy over to make me jealous. It would have been completely different if she would have just came out and talked to me about it. Isn't that what friends do? She didn't mention anything about it. Well let me get on with the story.
Sarah and Tony have become rather close, and like I said before, I am really happy for her. Then tonight happened. I was over there at her house with this new girl named jenn.
Jenn and I have worked a few times at work and I think she was a pretty cool girl. We talked and such at work. Well tonight we were talking and sitting next to each other talking and getting along great. Then sarah sat up and and says... "Do you realize the youngest and oldest person in this room are 10 years apart?" Jenn immediately looks at me and says "you are 28?"
DAMN WAS I PISSED. Ok... lets begin, no I am not interested in dating a girl that is 18. I had no idea she was that young. Trust me she looked a lot older. But the simple fact that Sarah had to rub that shit in my face is so wrong.
She was getting pissed that I was actually getting along with someone. Lately I have been really pissed with sarah. There is sooooo much to this that you are not hearing. I WILL fill you in i promise.
It is just late and I have to get some sleep. I am just getting pissed typing this out. I better go. I will let you know what happens. Take care and Ill type more soon!!!

What a GREAT day! I got up today at about 9:00, I had to get up and work for Carlos at 10. I didn't mind at all. It was a day full of overtime. That means time and a half. :o) I am always willing to work for that. Work went really good today. It was pretty slow, and I was able to get everything done. I went to lunch however expecting to get some errands ran. I wanted to do the following:
1. get a haircut.
2. get my glasses fixed.
3. possibly see if a cd was in.
Out of those 3 I only got one accomplished. I stopped by the hair place and the lady in front of me was there with her son. I guess her son thought he was a barber and went off on his own hair. The mother was like, "I need half of a haircut for my son. He already started it for you." I had to laugh at that one.
I think every kid does this once in his/her life. I know I did. But then again, I cut my own hair through high school. Well you know, I was a little punker and I couldn't afford a haircut anyway. Well the lady at the desk told the mother that it would be an hour and a half. I turned around and said forget the haircut today.
I then ran next door and was looking at cds. I got "Fuels" cd. It is really great! I recommend it to all of you. It is on the hard side, so if you don't really like that sort of stuff you might stay away. Oh yeah, do you know the song "Shimmer" on the radio right now? that is "Fuel." Shimmer is actually really soft compared to most of the cd. My favorite is the first song called "untitled." VERY NICE!
So anyway, after i got the cd, I went out to my car and decided against going to get the glasses fixed today. The place was clear across town and I didn't feel like dealing with traffic for just that. The town I live in is so strange. During the day it is a mad house on the streets. The traffic is pretty thick. Come 9:00 at night it turns into a ghost town.
The cops are really bad here too. They are everywhere. I guess I feel safe living here. It just is a pain in the ass if you are driving at night. They love to harass you. (thinking you are a drunk driver.)
So after work I went to go look for a shirt. I only have a few decent winter shirts. It is starting to get cool here, so i thought i better update my wardrobe. I went to one of my favorite stores, and I struck out there too.
I have come to a conclusion that today was not a good day for errands. I left there came home and got a call from Jenn E. (singer Jenn) She told me her and her roomies (Kathleen, and Carrie Ann) were just gonna chill out with a movie. So I got in my car and drove to Chapel Hill (UNC) We rented "Swingers", and "Senseless." Both movies were really great.
I had seen Swingers but the girls hadn't seen it yet so we picked it up. They loved it too. "Your money baby! Who's the winner mikey? Who's the winner? You are Mikey! Mikey's the WINNER!" Sorry that was a small quote from the movie.
Well I guess that is where I am now. Sitting here with Hadley rubbing against my legs. I think he is hungry. Gonna go for now. Hopefully tomorrow is as nice as today was. Bye friends!
