Tiger just loves to eat !

Tiger is a normal grey cockatiel with beautiful dark coloring.   We got Tiger from someone who no longer wanted or could take care of him.  We're sure glad, because he's such a wonderful sweet little bird.  The first morning Tiger was at our house he woke us up with little barking noises.  He sounded just like an alarm clock.  Then he amazed us with his beautiful singing voice (really it's more like whistling, but to Tiger, it's singing...).  He knows how to whistle the theme from the Andy Griffith show, but he kind of makes it up as he goes along towards the end.  Tiger just loves to sing and dance.

Tiger loves mirrors, showers, and likes to sing in the "singing tree".   He loves corn chips, especially Tostitos, but hates vegetables and pellets.  His hobbies include dancing when he sees his reflection in a mirror, whistling, playing in his cage and on the tree, marching around on the floor and picking up junk, and exploring dark corners. He also likes tapping his beak on a mirror to the point that we worry that he'll get brain damage from all that tapping.  He also likes to admire himself and pose in the mirror.  Tiger is very possessive of his food and doesn't like anyone near his dish, so he is sometimes known to sleep in his food dish.

Foo Foo and Snowflake , our two parakeets, sometimes annoy him, or eat out of his dish and when that happens he runs over and starts to scream at them to chase them away.  He is funny, he is so spoiled he gets all the food he wants.  I don't know what he's so worried about.  Tiger is still hand shy, but we're working on it.  He just loves to get spoiled by having his neck rubbed, only you have to rub his neck with your chin or nose.  Tiger loves getting neck rubs, but you have to rub him with your nose or face, he doesn't like fingers.  Currently, Tiger is learning to speak (or more like "listen to...") some English.  Hopefully, he'll be able to speak very soon.

Tiger's nicknames are Tooti, Tooti Fruiti, Too Too, Tooti Flooty, and "the little performing artist".  He is a sweetheart and our little baby bird.
