We bought Snowflake Two after our sweet angel Snowflake flew away from us.  We got him mainly because Foo Foo was very upset that the first Snowflake was gone and she missed her companion.  Snowflake 2 looks very similar to our first Snowflake.  He has the same light teal blue coloring, but he is not a clearwing. His dark blue check patches are also more pronounced.   His personality, amazingly, is very similar to Snowflake's. 

She "plays football" with you like Snowflake used to do when you try to pick her up and she gets along very well with Foo Foo.  When we first introduced her to Foo Foo, she knew right away that it was a strange bird, and Foo Foo was scared of her at first.  But now, they are the best of friends. Just like "frick and frack".

We like to call him "SNOWFNAKE" with an "n".

Snowfnake is younger than Foo Foo and being a male he is much larger than her.   Snowfnake has brought joy to our hearts just like Snowflake did.  He will never replace Snowflake, but has already made a place of his own in our hearts and home.

Snowfnake nicknames are Snowflake, Snowsnake, Sweetheart, and Number 2.  His hobbies include chewing the leaves off the tree, making budgie noises, bossing Foo Foo around, and flying around the house making "Kiiik kiiik" warning sounds while freaking the other birds out.  Before we clipped his wings he liked to sit on top of the closets in the bedroom and chew the plastic plant leaves, a definite "no-no".
